Had them preform a transmission fluid change and service. They underfilled it by 4 quarts causing catastrophic damage resulting in $5500 in transmission repairs. They refuse to refund me the service that cause all the damage. And the head manager called me a tough guy and told me to Come find him till 7pm. They are scum of the earth and couldn't care less that they cost me thousands of dollars for a simple fluid change. Incompetence at its best with zero accountability.

Time For Small Claims Court

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, June 25, 2023

You can go before small claims Court but you may have some weakness in your case. For example, when you received the car back from service, did YOU check the level of the transmission fluid? Their point would be a reasonable person who knows their transmission was serviced and the transmission fluid level is highly important, would check that level and if low, report it at once. If the level was low, when did you first start noticing problems? Typically the symptoms would be delayed engagement or unusual shifting. If you noticed said symptoms, their point would be why did you continue to drive it that way? I've given you two weak spots in your case. If I was defending them, that would be where I would focus. You may want to run your concerns past an attorney which he/she would probably supply a first appointment for free.
