Fred Winocur could be Denver’s worst criminal defense lawyer. After investigating the facts of my particular case it seems attorney Fred Winocur at Ridley McGreevy & Winocur completely failed at fulfilling his constitutional duty. His failure to provide even the most basic of investigation and review of the discovery was not a strategic decision. Instead, it was a complete and total failure to provide effective counsel. To say Winocur’s performance fell below the standard of reasonableness is an understatement. I was sentenced to 8 years in prison and my life ruined because of his incompetence.

If that were true, it should be a slam-dunk case to get the conviction thrown out because of ineffective assistance of counsel. Somehow, I seriously doubt that this was the case.
