Gerardo Tapia represents himself as a licensed GC and is not! We had leak in our master bath shower and he assured us he was licensed, insured and more than qualified to help us which he is not! I don't think he is a bad person whith cruel intentions to defraud us but he is not organized, not experienced, and definitley not accountable for his actions or his workers.

He bit off more than he was capable of chewing when we entered into an agreement to remodel our master bathroom.  This is an absolute nightmare, from his marble installers to his plumber and laborers! He treated our multi million dollar home like a storage unit with no regard for our time or property. His plumber is not experienced when it comes to installing high end fixtures and nothing was flush or funtioning properly.

All of the backplates were uneven and moved when touched even though they are not supposed and the body jets are intalled sideways so the company name is also sideways. As far as the body jets are concerned, that is just a cosmetic issue and doesn't affect the funtion by they cannot be corrected because although they appear to be square on the outside and a simple fix when another plumber came in to fix all the problems and leaks they cause they tried to turn the body jets but because of the way the wholes were cut for the marble they can't be turned without exposing the wall.

They were supposed to put two marble shelves in like the ones they took out when they did the demo and forgot to do that too. When we asked him wherer our shelves are during the work he blamed us for not reminding him. He completelely scrathed up all of our Calutta marble floors and our !!k front door was damaged. They caused a leak in our 15k tub by trying to remove the diverter from the top with a screwdiver!

This man is not accountable for his actions and not a licensed anything and we are hiring an attorney! He won't even call us back! We don't want anyone else to go through what we have. It cost us over 40k including materials and we have to redo the entire bathroom because of all the damage and mistakes that his workers made and he is not remoresful and actually thinks he did a good job!

Since i've sent him all of the documentation from other professionals concerning all of the problems and the bills that we've paid to fix the leaks and damage, he won't respond to my text and when I call from a different phone he says " you said you are going to take me to court so we'll talk about it then!!!" The nerve of this guy, granted I was very nice when he didn't return calls or bring us our marble or blinds but because I threatend litigation he's upset with us! unreal!

Do not hire this guy for anything otherwise you will regret it!
