if it is they should remove it I think or say just kidding perhaps. I dont wish to get them into any trouble maybe warn of it or something.

Somebody doesn’t understand humor

AUTHOR: Jared - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

They obviously put this there for comedic purposes. Look at the rest of their site and you can easily learn that. And for fun I emailed them about it and got sent a picture of a silver dollar so if you’re that butt hurt about comedic writing then do that. Also if you’re going to file a report learn how to spell.

Tongue-in-cheek advertising

AUTHOR: Chris - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Every gripper in this line (numbers 1-6) has some sort of tongue-in-cheek advertising. First off, every level claims to have "massive sex appeal."

The #1 claims to let you live to be "195 years young" with the footnote that "grip strength will not grant you immortality".

The #5 reads: "If you can get a GG5, you're basically an expert and we'll send you to Saturn as a grip ambassador."

The #6 reads: "When you close a GG6 you are granted the rights to a small island on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean."

Obviously the company is not going to send people to Saturn or give away small islands. With those as precedent, you're obviously not getting a "shiny silver dollar" as a consolation prize for closing a gripper, due to the nonexistance of Official Grip Genie events and Pro Status.

Grip Genie

AUTHOR: The Grip Genie - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 30, 2019

Hi there "Herbert", thanks for the post! This is indeed tongue in cheek. If you look at the descriptions of all of our grippers there are many fun "easter eggs" for example:

1) "If you can get a GG5, you're basically an expert and we'll send you to Saturn as a grip ambassador."

2) "The master of all Genie Grippers. Be careful with this one, it's a wiley one. When you close a GG6 you are granted the rights to a small island on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean."

Not entirely sure why this is confusing...but if you end up obtaining the rights to an island...well, we can't even afford vacations for ourselves so please send us a pretty post card when you get there.
