Haverhill Gutters & Roofing Barry Billcliff Did poor workmanship & failed to correct numerous problems and honor his warranty. Danville, New Hampshire

Barry was hired to do a "slate re-vamp", as he called it on my slate roof and after paying him $4000 dollars the slates continue to loosen and hang over the edge and he refuses to honor his 14 year warranty.

He did come out twice to fix a few loose slates but they keep loosening and now he says it's due to the extreme winds recently and that's not covered by his warranty. What did I pay 4 grand for then? What good is it if the slates keep coming loose every year? Also I hired him to put up gutters 3 years ago and this winter one whole side came down. He will not put it back up because he says the fascia board is faulty and weak but he is the one who screwed it into the fascia so why didn't he tell me that then when he installed it? He refuses to back up his work and I know why, because it's of poor quality and he doesn't really know what he is doing.

I also noticed recently he applied the drip edge on top of the rubber roof he installed on the porches and this is in-correct, it should go UNDER the roofing so the water goes OVER it and not UNDER it as it does the way he applied it. He doesn't know what he is doing and it shows when he explains things, so listen hard to him and ask questions and you can trip him up. Some of the positive reviews on here about him are probably him or his friends posting them to try to offset the bad reviews. he is the guy who found some old money in a customers old barn and kept it by claiming they found it in a friends yard. He even went on TV boasting about it until he was found out to have lied about where he found it. Total BS'er, look out!!
