Hawaiian Shipping Lost & Damaged Our Items Internet

Our experience could not have been worse! They picked up our vehicle in Portland to deliver to Tacoma but the transport driver had no clue how to operate a manual transmission - took him nearly ten minutes of killing the engine and burning the clutch to get it on the trailer. By the time it got to Kona the syncros were totally toasted (try to make a claim on that). Our household contents filled a 45' container and hauled to LA. Three weeks later we notified them of the delivery address but were told it would "be a few weeks", meanwhile they charged us storage fees. When it (supposedly) did ship it took almost THREE MONTHS to be delivered. In the process at least four boxes never showed up (how do you lose boxes in a packed container????) and a number of items were damaged. Yes we submitted a claim - took me hundreds of hours to document missing/damaged items with values and photos and receipts, for a total claim of $4,508.28. We were offered $233.98 in compensation - Take It Or Leave It. It would have cost us more to litigate, which of course they knew.
