InterNations.org is a total scam 100%, and how to win against them! InterNations.org is a total scam 100%, and how to win against them!    Chisinau, Chisinau May 20, 2019  NOT RESOLVED   1.0 Details   5 comments

Let me tell you, people that have complained or are going to complain in the future about this scam organization, Yes it is true they are all about the money they tell you that they offer a trial albatross membership, it is not a trial they will bill you, if you do not downgrade before the trial period is over, They know clearly that people will not read the fine print to when they are signing up, and will never know about the automated payment at the end of the year. So they take advantage of this fact. In a court they can win a lawsuit since it is all written on the fine print of the website and the agreement you check off on in the EU only.

However, here is where they get really sketchy If you do not pay the Albatross membership after the trial period, or decide to cancel, they will not cancel anything,

They will send you a letter stating that they will report you to collection agencies and credit reporting agencies,

Ignore these letters and emails completely, and here is why in most countries they will not be able to do any such actions or any legal actions against yoy for non payment. See in most countries in order to bring a action against you using collection agencies or other legal means. The company must be registered in that country and paying taxes. Internations is not registered in most countries they operate in around the world.

Since Internations is not registered organization ( Check company registration in your country) in most of the countries they operate or have events. Then technically they are operating illegally and avoiding taxes in most countries. That is why they only sell memberships online to avoid taxes in other countries, If they charge a fee to enter their events in those countries then technically it is a scam, since they are not paying taxes in these countries and you can just call the local tax collectors and report it, believe me tax collectors will not be happy about it.

So legally they cannot enforce any dues to be paid to any collection agencies , services, or take legal action against you in most countries around the world, they have no legal grounds to do so, So basically just ignore it or turn them in to the tax authorities in that country, and tell them where to shove their letters.

Since they are registered in Germany, Which is a EU member of course they would be able to pursue you if you are in a EU member country to an extent. I would advise to seek legal counsel if you are in a EU member country.

Oitside of the EU, I would just ignore them and tell them you want your account to be deleted if you wish to do so. They have to comply to your demand to delete your account according to EU privacy laws. You can report them if they do not want to delete your information to the EU authorites .

By the way, I have attended several of these events, and most of the people I met are just like the organizations very Sketchy indeed. It seems like it is people pretending to be something they are not , and I did not meet any serious business men or anyone that I woud like to meet with outside of Internations events and they do promote the Albatross membership quite a bit at these events, I think someone makes a commission somewhere or maybe they get some kind of points for refferring someone that signs up for the Albatross membership, Which in my humble opinion is truly worthless. To me these events where just another meat market for singles mostly and scammers looking for a opportunity to get someone somehow.

So before going to their events and signing up for anything , be warned this is a 100% total scam.

Product or Service Mentioned: Internations Membership.
