The Landlord Credit Bureau is a new site that claims landlords can report tenants who pay rent or do not.
https://landlordcreditbureau.ca/
After seeing what they are offering I'm giving a huge warning.
1. They have fake reviews on their site (as they have just started)
2. They have no telephone number, no office, no nothing!
3. Only Equifax and Transunion can be real legal licensed 'credit bureaus" in Canada.
This company is a huge risk as reporting tenants must follow Canadian privacy laws.
If you report with this company who knows where the data goes?!
Say no to these types of sites.

Let me guess...

Let me take a guess here. You were a tenant who had a bad payment history and are now upset that you are being reported.
I did take a look at their site and a few things stood out.
1. They have fake reviews on their site (as they have just started)
- I have no idea about the reviews, but their site has been active since 2013..7 years is hardly new.
2. They have no telephone number, no office, no nothing!
- Took me about 30 seconds to find their address..
3. Only Equifax and Transunion can be real legal licensed 'credit bureaus" in Canada.
- They don't appear to market themselves as a "Credit Bureau", but because of what they do report they do appear to follow all guidelines.
This company is a huge risk as reporting tenants must follow Canadian privacy laws.
- If you feel that they are violating the law, why haven't you reported them?
