"Screaming" is what you hear when a mother sees her little child running toward traffic! I suppose your use of the word is nothing more than the same sorry generational exaggeration we hear every day such as when the boss tells an employee to not do something or to do something and the employee then tells everyone "he was yelling at the top of his lungs!". Right. Sure.
