The salesman told us where they would list our vehicle and completed lie to us to devalue our trade by $10,000 just to LURE us into making a sale!

We only had the new vehicle two weeks now and only put 290 miles on it and literally just tried to trade it back, and the pre-owned car manager just devalued the new car by another $17,000!!!! That is a total of $27,000 they got from us and ripped us off!!!

Try a Private Sale

AUTHOR: coast - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 04, 2025

You accepted their trade-in offer; therefore, you are suffering from a case of seller's remorse.

The value of your current vehicle has depreciated. The dealer may be greedy by expecting to resell the vehicle at a high profit, but that does not constitute a rip-off.

Have you attempted to sell the vehicle privately? You can anticipate selling the vehicle for a greater amount in a private sale because the buyer usually doesn't intend to resell it for a profit.
