Took my vehicle to Robert @ Mission Bell Motorworks. Robert the mechanic ripped me off by $1,000 and didn't fix anything. He put in a new booster which he said I didn't need and then told me for an additional $600 he would put in the vacuum pump. I asked for half the money $500 and Robert hung the phone on me.

I & #39;m sorry that you feel that way. Your husband or bf made the mistake that most all customers make of not getting their car properly diagnosed. He specifically stated, & quot;my other mechanic already diagnosed this problem and a brake booster would 100% fix the problem. & quot; We advised him that it was better to get it diagnosed by us especially since we were the ones doing the repair. Your husband/fianc & eacute;e signed on our paperwork that he declined diagnosis at this time. We have a receipt for a brake booster which is a new part and is covered by a 2yr warranty. We also gave him a FREE DIAGNOSIS after it didn & #39;t fix the problem and gave him a very fair quote for a vacuum pump replacement. Parts cost 690.10 plus taxes 60.38. And labor. & nbsp;
