Nationwide Relocation -Damron Moving Misrepresentation Scam and ripoff UnprofessionalDO NOT USE PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!! Fort Lauderdale Florida

Please for your own good - I do not want anyone to experience what I have (even with research) unless of course you have money to burn, time to waste and you do not care about your personal possesions!!!!!! This company has many complaints already listed, but too bad for me I found out about it after the fact. This business does not advise that it is just a broker. It "low-balls" the quote (We ended up paying $2K more out of pocket on the day of delivery) to get your business. Assigns shabby movers who do not comply and actually bad mouth the broker. The mover assigned to us was Damron Moving from Ohio who either entity never provided a copy of the weight and even after a request for a re-weigh. Damaged our items, came late, told us the weight was over we had to come up with almost $2K more the day of delivery which they would not take check or charge cards, did not have enough people and tried to recruit people from our complex(how embarrassing), struck another tenants vehicle while pulling out and was not going to report it and then we get a call the next day that the one driver left with the truck and cash and stranded the other driver in another state. (The one drive bragged of doing jail time) How come this broker can get away with all of this. Why are there numerous complaints regarding this industry yet nothing seems to get done thus letting more and more deceit business/owners enter this field? Why is it the broker states he cannot do anything about anything...he is the broker he is the one who is responsible for the set up and further more should it not be stated up front he is only the BROKER????? (I hold a brokers license and that is not how you do or go about your business) Something needs to be done about this. Research the site your self ..this business is listed on the Blacklist there and I think maybe a class action suit can be started based on all this information and all the people affected! I will further pursue this as I do not have extra cash like that; to be placed in a position of someone doing business like that! Not to mention it is traumatic enough to ensue a move and then to be held hostage to a company with a negative track record? This entity should not be in business. It "sucks" you in with low bids;then calls to "up" the amount for a bigger deposit. I believe the company mis-represents itself. At no time did it claim it was a broker. They hire "shabby" even "shady" movers and won't reply to your request for help/complaints. See the web page www.movingscam.com and see this carrier is listed on the BLACK LIST. I am not the only one who was taken for more than $1,000. I also beleive there has been illegal dealings. I have contacted the Federal Motor Carrier Administration,all four states(NY,FL,OH & VA)attorney generals, all four states(NY.OH, VA,FL)BBB services, consumer protection, Rip Off Reportwebsite and even (whom I rec'd an e-mail that after 1/1/06 they were not going to do business with them because they were not told they were a broker and the site does not want to deal with brokers or do business like that) I AM NOT STOPPING UNTIL I SEE RESULTS AND GET SOME OR ALL OF MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!
