I was told that after insurance pay, my cost was $22 that I paid on the spot. A month later I received a bill demanding about $88 extra, detailing that the actual charge was $290 and my insurance allowed for only $180.
They have the audacity to charge $290 for a 10 minute visit with a nurse for a sinus allergy medication prescription while, as I was told they don't even have a doctor on site, and they present the charges in steps?
These are predatory business practices that should not be tolerated and are being brought to the attention of the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Better Business Bureau.
