The man who called me on the erroneous debt said I need to pay this debt or suffer severe damage to my credit. It is for a vehicle for which I was never on the title of. The vehicle was titled to my ex with Bank of America as the legal owner.

The man then tells me my ex submitted a release of liability on the vehicle to me which is null and void since the legal owner of the Vehicle is Bank of America and as the title holder you cannot sign the car to anyone until you complete the payments to the bank which I know for a fact he defaulted on.
