I signed a contract, with a $35,000 deposit, with Ray Pro, LLC March 20. 2023 to buy a specific tile to reroof my home that was damaged in Hurricane Ian. It was my understanding that they would tarp my home to prevent further damage until underlayment was applied to the roof. The actually did apply tarp twice, but have not reapplied tarp all summer. There is significantly more water damage now, than Hurricane Ian caused. Most often, my phone calls are not returned, and when they are, the owner, Ray Galvan, tells me what he thinks I want to hear but never follows through. There has been no follow-through on any promise that man has ever made to me. My roof was supposed to have been completed before the end of September. This did not happen, and their excuse was that they were backlogged because of the rain. At that time I was told they would start to work on my home when they completed two roof jobs they were currently working on. I reached out to Ray Galvan again Oct. 10. He told me he needed to finish three roofs before he could start on my home. I reminded him that in September, he said he would start work on my home after he finished two roof jobs. He claimed that an emergency commercial job took precedence, but promised to a bring tile sample the following day. He did not show up, but did send me a pic on his cell. This was not the tile I specified I wanted when I signed the contract. I think he either found a cheaper tile, or that this is yet another delay tactic.

Mold is growing in my bathroom. Water pours in through the roof, into the walls, when it rains. When the master bath windows were replaced, the drywall was so wet and soggy that is was taken out. Now, I can watch rain water pouring from the hole in the roof behind the tile in the bathroom. Ray Pro's lack of performance is costing me a fortune that I would not have been forced to pay if my home had been roofed in a timely manner.

I asked to be released from this contract in late September, due to a lack of performance.  Raymond Galvan, the owner of Ray Pro, claimed he had too much money invested to let me out of it. Aside from permit cost, and sending a guy over to tarp my roof twice, I am unaware of any other investment this man has made to fulfill his side of the bargain.
