This government is so short of money that they go loking for it even where it doesnt exist. If you incorporate, even in another state, like Delaware, as most companies do, they think you owe them money right away. Even though no business has happened or revenue started, they just assume they are owed money and start inflicting fines. I guess they require a monthly return even though no sales have occurred, and $0.00 income has occurred. In Short, dont create a company in South Carolina, do it somewhere else. Its just wonderful filing returns for a dormant company, or a corporation that isnt quite active yet.
