Startup Essentials, And A1 Leasing fast talking, bamboozling, unprofessional, scam artist who only tell you half of the important information you SHOULD KNOW, SCAM! Dallas Texas

*Consumer Comment: A-1 Leasing

i was on the computer filling out an at home application, and 5 seconds after i clicked the final button, my phone rang! that was scary. I got suckered in to this too. i did ask the person i spoke with, a rep who was a fast talker and made it seem so urgent that i need to do this now or i could never do it again, if i could call back or think about it. He just made it a point to say i should call off work, and listen to him. they go through this whole first part of the phone call showing you better business buruea icons and such to make you secure, they claim that they tell you all the important stuff, and they keep asking you if you understand, well, i THOUGHT i understood. there are a few things that they say and dont say. i was told that, "If i decide to cancel i could never work with them again". i was not told of any other reprocusions. the phrase "If I cancel" tells me that i CAN cancell. these companies should not be aloud to try to talk you in to something the first day they talk to you. there should be a law to protect people from being fast talked by these internet companies that try to get your money. I sent my stuff back less than a week after i got it, sent it fedex, i did attempt the first part in the program, but as i started realising and thinking and then seeing these reports i knew something wasnt what it seemed. there was a time i called for advice on the ebay part, and i was made to understand before i signed this contract that we would be selling things like what was going to be on our website, the products that i thought they were going to invest in. i call and this guy answers like he just picked up his cell phone at home, totally unprofessional, and told me to sell my household items to make money on ebay. That ticked me off a little. one other important thing, a lady i spoke with yesterday briefly mentioned there was a "timeframe" that you could cancel. But failed to be able to tell me what that timeframe was. when i spoke to the lady yesturday about my cancelation email that i had sent them. i really let her know what i thought of the company, and she asked me if i remembered the guy telling me about a contract that was not able to be canceled, i don't remember him telling me there was NO WAY OUT of the contract and all that. I asked about how to get in touch with this leasing company that they go through called A1 leasing in lansing MI, to see about canceling, because she said there was no way for her or her boss to cancel anything. that i would have to get in touch with these people and then couldn't give me any more information on the leasing company. She also mentioned that my credit could be ruined. .What a crock! if anyone knows anything i can do, please let me know, i placed a stop on the transaction at my bank and i am attempting to try to get my account closed. i sent bakc the package along with the laptop with only a part of the book written on. didnt use any of the software.
