We found the car for sale on the internet as we looked for a classic restored Bronco. They responded to our inquiry and agreed on a price for the car. They asked foor the funds to be wired to UMB Bank in West Virginia and then to a San Francisco based auto sale processing firm called "Payward Venture".
Payward we found out uses www.kraken.com to process payments. Once the car did not show up yesterday 6/17 as promised, their phone numbers we were using to reach them were both disconnected.

Kraken is a Bitcoin exchange. You literally just wired $45k to some scammers who are likely not even in the US. The car never existed, the people you were talking to never existed, this company never existed. Next time, do at least a minimal amount of verification before wiring large sums of money to God knows who. You should probably also file a report with the FBI.
