There is all but one person at this place that is qualifed to work on the dash ac system and he is not the one that will do the job. The EPA requires every person that does any type of ac repair to be 608/609 certified. If you go here ask to see the 609 certificate of the tech that is going to do the job. If they can't go someplace ealse

EPA 608/609 certifies that you know the legal requirements around handling refrigerant. You don't need to know anything about repairing AC systems, you just need to pass a simple multiple-choice test, which is mostly about refrigerant recovery and disposal. Of course, if you are working without even an EPA cert, it's illegal. But just because you have one doesn't mean you know anything about AC systems.
