They lied and scammed us out of over$13,000! UVC is nothing but a discount club. Pay $26,000 and you can receive 25% off regular prices at their resorts. Any internet site can find you a better deal. They make a million promises... all lies.

There are blackout dates. Your paid nights only count for HALF at many resorts, including Secrets, Dreams and more!!! They are the worst scammers out there. I am excited to finally begin the work necessary to sue these crooks!

We are Camarena, Robledo and Associates in Cancún, Mexico. We specialize in vacation property and timeshare contracts and work in conjunction with the Secretary of the Department of Mexican Tourism. We can help you cancel your membership and recover the capital that you have invested. How does that sound?

Please reply to us by email to paulinanunez@cr-asociado.mx, and we´ll discuss the options we can offer to get you out of this contract.

We look forward to helping you!

Unlimited Vacation Club

AUTHOR: JAY - (United States)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 26, 2020

We have been members of Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) for 2 years now and couldn't be happier.

We have also spoken to numerous members who are also very, very happy with their memberships as well.

We have never felt ripped off. Quite the contrary. Our trips have all been at great places and for much less than others who were non-members. Even with our membership fees we have averaged a 40% savings. One example was our trip to all inclusive Secrets Papagayo in Costa Rica. We paid less than half for our week long stay than the most non-members staying at the resort. Some paid almost 3 times what we paid including the couple on the other half of our bungalow.

The only resort we could not go to at first was Zoetry. Big deal. We could go to Secrets or Breathless or any of the other resorts.

We just came back from a week in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. Using the Lifestyles Collection side of UVC. We stayed at a nice extended stay hotel and paid $65 for the entire week. I did research prior to booking and found that it would have cost us over $1100. It wasn't all inclusive but it had a nice pool the rooms were large and we were across the street from the beach and within walking distance to everything.

We also went to the Secrets in San Jose to do our yearly membership review and they gave us a free day there where we could hang out by the pool and eat and drink for free all day.

We decided to upgrade there. We swore we weren't going to but they worked with us on upgrade price. And yes, at the basic level there are some blackout dates which we usually don't travel on anyway but the addtional room upgrades and getting unlimited nights were well worth it.

If you take advantage of all of your benefits the cost of your membership drops a lot.

We have up to 14 FREE days we can use to go to any of the AM Resorts. Obviously, there are some resorts that will require using 2 nights because they are higher on the luxury scale.

We can also deposit weeks into an RCI account and we have 3 weeks where we can book any hotel or resort for $249 each week. We have unlimited nights so no big deal.

If you buy a timeshare you pay thousands and on top of that you have monthly maintenance fees. You get one or MAYBE two set weeks out of the year to use it at a set place. If you want a different week or destination you better hope you have a desirable week or destination to trade. A friend has a $25,000 timeshare he's used twice in 10 years. And he also has $250 a month maintenance fees. That go on forever.

Here, we go when we want, as much as we want and we have a once a year fee of $149 and our membership is paid off in 4 years and then we get to use it another 36. Oh, and if our kids want to book a trip they can. And when we're gone the membership goes to them for the remainder of the term.

If we have questions about our membership all we have to do is call and they will explan it to you. If you have a discrepancy between what they said when you signed up let them know. We had one issue when we signed up at first and they corrected it. Just take notes at the meeting.

They explained everything and were completely above board with amenities and restrictions based on the level you bought in at. And if you actually negotiate you can get a better price and more amenties added to your membership. Even with our upgrade we didn't pay $26,000.

If what I described above sounds like a ripoff to you well then so be it. Don't sign up.

And no, we don't work for UVC. But we tell all of our friends about it. Constantly.
