After booking a vacation rental for Dec 25 - Jan 1, 2025, the property owner emailed us telling us that there would not be any preparation either on our arrival and on our departure.

He asked if we would change our reservation to Dec 24 - Jan 2, 2025 - and if we couldn't make that arrangement to please cancel and he would issue full refund.

Canceled reservation and received $88.88 - we paid $635.23 down payment.

VRBO gave us a Case Number.  The agent said "Never cancel - Always wait for refund, then cancel."

Had no idea it worked this way.

Beware!

I will never go through VRBO again.

If we get a refund, I will amend this report,
