I applied for a loan online and was contacted by this company. I was approved for 20,000 but I needed to give them 1500 dollar deposit. Once they recieved the money, I was no longer approved. They wanted another 799.35 for insurance. I was unaware it's illegal to get money up front for a loan in Canada. It's been over a week and no sign of my 1500. They say it's going to take another 2 weeks to get it back to me. It's illegal!
