Most STOLI's come about because someone is looking to gain financially on the death of an individual. It can come about with or without the individual's knowledge. A scammer for example, might offer to pay the individual a few thousand dollars to cooperate with the insurance application and medical exam. The scammer would then agree to fund all policy premiums. Sometimes the scammer has another person other than the supposed insured do a medical exam, and forge the individual's signature. The scammer then wait's to collect the death benefit (usually $500,000 to 2 million dollar policies) or sell the policy for cash to a third-party investor. Sometimes the scammer hires someone to cause an untimely death so the scammer can collect the death benefit early. Ultimately, the recipient of the death benefit is the one who profits most from STOLI. This could be an investor group or an individual. However, if caught they could be facing up to 20 years in federal prison!

 I've been over to Brian Showalter's house a few times when he had some parties. This was about 6 or 7 years back, but I overheard two of Brian's guy friends talking to Brian about a stranger life insurance policy or stranger something life insurance policy. It had the word stranger in it. They were talking about Clint Berry during the conversation. I dunno if they took out a life insurance policy on Clint Berry or something? Seems pretty strange considering Brian Showalter and his friends don't really know Clint Berry, and Brian said himself that Clint's never been over to his house! Two of Brian's guy friends were trying to figure out a way to get Clint Berry to come over to Brian's house. I'm not sure why, but it sure sounded like they didn't have Clint Berry's best interests in mind. Both of Brian's guy friends said something about hiding behind a door. I overheard them saying that several of their friends in Jefferson and Stephens County would get a piece of the pie from the life insurance policy. Again, I dunno if it had to do with Clint Berry or not, but just in case something goes down, I'm adding this info on here.

 Y'all really need to stay away from Clint Berry. He's got some mental issues. Officer Matt Peck, Josh Berry, and Chris Bayless have been in his house and said they saw some disturbing things! They went to his trailer house one day in 2019 when Clint Berry wasn't there and the door was left open so they stepped inside. They looked around and they saw a bookcase in the back of the trailer house with several books about witchcraft, black magic, and other occult books!!! They also saw a strange mirror and a small table with black, white and red candles and a bowl with leaves in it and a knife beside it! SPOOKY! Officer Matt Peck took pictures of everything on that table, and they have the pictures at the Waurika police department! Sheriff Jeremie Wilson also went inside that house in 2020 and said he saw books about witchcraft, books about clairvoyance, books about ghosts, bottles of whiskey and rum, black candles, many porn magazines and a GUN in one of the bedrooms!! Jeremie Wilson also said he saw documents that had BLOODY fingerprints on them!! To think my crazy sister dated him!! I told her many times that she needs to let Clint Berry go and find somebody else and she just wouldn't listen! Judge Dennis Gay has said for years that Clint Berry is being watched and monitored since 2002!! He said he got onto Rachael Busby for dating Clint Berry in 2014 and he told Rachael that she needs to find somebody else. THANK GOD she listened!  Jessica I remember that party! It started at like 8 pm! The house and pool was in a rural area. Like down some country roads. I don't remember how to get there. Lol I didn't go totally naked but I went topless. I do remember several girls that were in our class who went naked. OMG, now that I think about it there were a lot of naked parties in rural parts of Waurika back in the day! Wasn't the naked pool party of '96 the same party that Sandy Vasquez stuck a cigarette in her butt and Jason Craig lit it and smoked it? I might be getting this party confused with another one. Y'all remember the naked pool party in '97? That was a crazy a*s party! in June of 97 I think. That party went on all night! Someone kept playing Freak on a leash by KORN and a Nine Inch Nails song over and over. There was two kegs of beer at that party! Randi Busby and Christie Bush were at that party too. The guys were measuring their dicks at that party. I think the girls had a nice a*s contest or something like that. A lot of people stayed the night outside by the pool. I do remember waking up and seeing empty beer bottles floating in the pool. Reg Deaton took me, and two other girls home the next morning. The next naked party that I went to was in '98. I think they had them every year at that house until about 2004. It was in June of '98 and everybody from the class of '98 was there. They had about 5 ice chests with beer and two with vodka, rum, goldschlager, sex on the beach, and other drinks. We all smoked weed at that party too. I also remember a naked house party in Waurika in 1998. I don't remember who threw that party but someone took me there and everybody was butt naked. Some of the guys were wearing baseball caps but other than that they were naked. Several girls were completely naked. I think there was a naked party at the lake that year also. The naked pool party in '99 wasn't as big as the ones in 96, 97, and 98. But yep, we were some wild a*s crazy girls back in the day!

Okay I have a story about a pool party that Clint Berry tried to attend but some of the partygoers didn't want him there. This was back in 1996 and a few months before Heather Rich was murdered. I think it was in May or June of 1996. So ( NAME REDACTED) had a naked pool party at their house. A LOT of people showed up. A lot of my friends were there as well as Reg Deaton, Wayne Griffin, Foster Sanders, Chad Durbin, Eric Thompson, Jason Craig, Christie Zachary, Candace Zachary, Shelli Gaines, Chris Robinson, Sandy Vasquez, Randi Busby, Carly Tallon, Rana Sanders, Mindy Miller, Jeremiah Johnson, Kristi Bates and several others. So we had all stripped naked and got in the pool. We were just chilling having a good time listening to Marilyn Manson, No Doubt, Smashing Pumpkins, Toadies, Oasis, etc. We had a mixture of beer, vodka, whiskey, everclear in ice chests. Some were smoking weed, and others were just hanging out by the pool, drinking, smoking cigarettes and socializing naked. Somebody noticed an old pickup truck drive up. Eric Thompson knew the truck and he was like "Who the f*** invited him?" Foster Sanders was like "Who is it?" Eric Thompson said "It's f***ing Clint Berry!" Foster Sanders was like "he's cool, let him in" Randi Busby was like "Oh f***! Reg, go tell him to go home, I don't want him seeing me naked!" Shelli Gaines was like "I don't care if he stays", Sandy Vasquez said "no, we go to the same church and he like knows my mom" Eric Thompson said "I'll go tell him to get the f*** out of here"! Reg Deaton said "Nah, I'll go tell him, y'all stay here, he trusts me, everybody stay down in the pool!" He grabbed his swimming trunks and slipped them back on then headed out to where Clint Berry had just pulled up in his old 50s model blue pickup truck. We watched as Reg walked up to Clint Berry's pickup truck. Clint Berry stepped out of his pickup truck and Reg said something to him. They talked for a few minutes, and Clint Berry got back in his old pickup truck and pulled out of the driveway. Reg came back and said " He's gone" Some people were like "Ahh man he could've sang us some songs" Everybody raised their heads up in the pool and the party went on. For the record I never had a problem with Clint Berry, and I loved his brother Kyle Berry. I have no idea why people were so hateful to him. If it was up to me, I would've let him stay and party with us, but it wasn't my house.

His dad came to jump his car off. Clint Berry got an a** chewin! You could hear his dad b****ing him out from the Farmers National Bank all the way to the Quick Mart! Ahaha! We heard his dad yelling at Clint Berry and we couldn't stop laughing! We were sore the next day from laughing so f***ing hard! Clint Berry used to ask me for advice on how to get a date. I used to tell him a bunch of bull***t. He was a f***ing desperate mother f***er! Me and Stephen Dyer got him in trouble every other day In high school chorus we threw spit wads at him and one time he picked up a music stand and tried to throw it at Stephen Dyer! Mr. Rock made Clint Berry go to Mr. Snider's office. Clint Berry came back later and called Stephen Dyer a piece of s**t and they went outside. Mr. Snider caught them fighting and Clint Berry got licks. Another time back in 93 Clint Berry was in the hallway by his locker and Joey Jinks was f***ing with Clint Berry and next thing I heard was a window breaking. Clint Berry threw a book at him and missed and the f***ing book went through a classroom window. Girls were screaming and s**t. I heard Clint Berry got licks for that and almost got his a** suspended!

No but I remember one Halloween when Jamie Prewitt threw eggs at him and Chad Abernathy while he was sitting on the tailgate of Chad Abernathy's pickup on Main Street in Waurika. Now that was some funny sh*t!

Jamie Prewitt egged Chad Abernathy's pickup and Chad Abernathy called him an a*shole. Funny! I remember in junior high when Reg Deaton pissed on Clint Berry's basketball shirt. Clint Berry kept complaining that the shirt was wet and tried to blame Stephen Dyer for throwing water on his shirt, but it was Reg Deaton's piss!

F*cking hilarious! I remember when Clint Berry tried to drive his old 51 Chevy in the Homecoming parade around the year 1994 or 95. One of the teachers told him to exit the parade and park his car! F*cking dumb a*s! I remember back in 1994 when he tried to go to a lingerie party at Bill's Catfish and Jeri Nell Mays and Jay Mays called the police on him.

He tried to say he was invited but Jeri Nell said she didn't invite him. Dumb a*s! I remember when Chris Estep, Eric Roberts, Shane Hoskins, Bubba Brown and several others pushed his face down to the floor under a latrine in the boys locker room and made Clint Berry lick the floor under the latrine before they let him back up!

That was f*cking hilarious! I remember back in Junior High when BJ Thomas hit him in the face with a textbook and Clint Berry went unconscious. Blood splattered on the lockers and he had a hole straight through his upper lip showing his teeth! That was back in 1992. I remember when Clint Berry almost got his a*s kicked by Nick Poage after he sang a f*cking Elvis Presley song to Nick's girlfriend.

Nick Poage grabbed his f*cking neck and would have choked him if Coach Werner hadn't stopped Nick from choking his stupid a*s! I remember when he wrote a letter to Tara Reid asking her to go out with him and me, Reg Deaton, Jason Craig and TJ Poage told her that Clint Berry is c in the boys locker room.

She told him to leave her alone. That was f*cking hilarious! I used to say that he hasn't had (((REDACTED PER TOS))) since he was born. He never got laid in high school! We made sure of it! He sure as hell ain't ever had a girlfriend! He may have had a few dates since high school but that's it.

CJ Keith told me he blocked him from dating Kayla Carter in 2018. CJ Keith also told me that the Waurika Fire Department and Sheriff's Office is trying to run his dumb a*s out of town and has been since 2002 when he wrote that letter to Randi Busby! These comments are based on my opinion.

 Will, do you remember that time Jamie Pruitt bloodied ol boy's nose for singing an Elvis song to Molly? He was right there in front of the high school and someone asked Clint to sing a song. He started singing and dancing in front of Molly and Jamie Pruitt walked up and put him in a head lock and punched his nose about 3 times and blood went everywhere.

That was some funny sh*t! Then Clint started crying like a baby. Another time I remember Stephen Dyer threw Clint's track shoes in the toilet in the boys locker room? Coach Davidson told Clint Berry to fish his shoes out of the toilet. We all got to watch.

Clint walked over to the toilet and started crying. Coach Davidson told him if he didn't fish his shoes out of the toilet he was going to the principal's office for throwing his shoes in the toilet. He thought Clint threw his own shoes in the toilet cause I said he did!

I laughed all the way home that day! He tried to hook up with a girl in high school chorus class and me and Stephen Dyer told her that Clint jacks off in the boys bathroom everyday. She believed me and Stephen and she told Clint to f*ck off! Hahahahahahaha! Funny sh*t!

I would advise anyone reading this who is in contact with Clint Berry to stop communications with him. He had some issues when he was a teenager. He was taking medication for a mental illness back in high school. The teacher would always tell him that it's time to take his medication.

Me, Reg Deaton, TJ Poage , and Jason Craig knew he had mental issues. And if he was in the military, I'm f*cking Willie Nelson! He couldn't even bench press 60 lbs when he was a teenager! He couldn't do a push up to save his f*cking life!

He couldn't get a date in high school and wouldn't be surprised if he's still a f*cking virgin! He drove a piece of sh*t old car from the 50s to school! He couldn't sing either! We made him believe he sounded good when he sang, but he sounded like sh*t! Nothing like Elvis! We secretly made fun of him behind his back when he would get up in front of class and sing!

It's no surprise he was blacklisted in junior high! Snider should have kicked his a*s out of school! I've never heard that he went to college! If he did he probably got kicked out of college! He tried to date Randi Busby back in high school but Randi had the good sense to tell him to f*ck off!

He tried to hook up with her again after high school and wrote her letters. She turned them into the Waurika Police Department and to this day the police department still has the letters he wrote her! He sounded like a f*cking psycho in the letters!

He said stuff like Randi was destined to be with him and she was a soulmate. Me, Reg Deaton, Josh Berry, and other people almost hunted his a*s down! He's been on a neighborhood watchlist ever since! Eric Thompson threatened to tie his a*s to a tree and beat the sh*t out of him with a lead pipe.

Randi worked out at Bill's Catfish with a relative of mine in the late 90s and That relative told her to call the police to make sure she got home safely. Her dad Jerry Busby told the police to arrest Clint Berry if he tried to talk to her at work! That's how scared she was because of Clint Berry!

So if you think Clint Berry is a good person you need to see a psychiatrist! That's just some of the things I know about him! We never invited him to parties, he would just show up and we would tell him to go home!

He thinks he's good friends with Reg Deaton and had him as a friend on Facebook, but Reg don't have anything good to say about him and neither does Chapel! He asked Reg about a class reunion, if he ever shows up at a class reunion, I'll kick his a*s!

I do remember Clint's pickup truck. I had no idea what year it was but I do remember it. I remember him at the prom too. He was wearing a white suit and I asked him if he wanted to dance. He was hanging around with Chris Young, Micah Wallace, Joe Kent, Wes Hargis and Chris Robinson.

They were acting silly and dancing to that 80s song Walk like an Egyptian. Lol! I remember seeing Clint at the after party at the lake. He was talking to Randi Busby. I think he had a crush on her. He sure talked about her a LOT in class! I do remember Frog. He wasn't from Waurika he was from Duncan but he hung out in Waurika a lot.

He was like a gangsta wannabe. I didn't know he pointed a gun at Clint. It doesn't surprise me! That's the way Frog was. He went around talking s**t and saying he shot people and dumped them in the Waurika Lake! I remember Clint got into a fight with Chad Allen one night in 2003 at a club called Spirits in Duncan. Clint said hi to Carrie Henderson and Chad got upset about it.

He threatened to kill Clint and even ran after Clint as he left the club, but Jimmy Guy Henderson stopped him. I don't think Chad Allen knew that Clint and Carrie were neighbors and grew up together. The last time I spoke to Clint was at Sticks convenience store in Ryan Oklahoma. Gosh! I think that was in 2009! Clint was driving a brand new blue Mustang.

He told me he had been in the military and was going to school at Cameron University in Lawton. I asked him if he ever got married and he said he hadn't yet but was engaged to a skinny blonde headed girl named Liz Johnson from Lawton. I told him I was married and living in Texas.

 Yes, I remember the Eagle's Nest, and Bill's Catfish. I also remember Dirk's Burger Shack. I used to go there for lunch. Good times! I went to Bill's Catfish a lot when Justin Poage was working there. He worked at Bill's Catfish in 94 and 95. Clint worked out at Bill's in late 93 to November or December of 94.

I went out there in December of 94 and asked if Clint was there and Michelle Richardson told me he was no longer working there. I didn't know about the watermelon plant in Terrell. I knew some of the guys talked about pitching watermelons that summer, but I didn't know where it was. I never heard that Clint almost got drowned.

He probably kept that to himself. I do remember the 51 Chevy car that Clint Berry drove to school. He also drove a dark blue '52 Chevy pickup truck. Do you remember that one? He drove it to the prom in 96. He showed up to the prom with Catrina Waters and one of the teachers told her something, and he ended up going home alone.

I remember seeing him after the prom and asking him about his date and he looked at me and said one word "rumors". The next time I talked to him he told me that he was thinking about dropping out especially since he was told by Mrs. Biby and Mrs. Berry that he didn't have enough credits to graduate that year.

The thing that gets me is why did they wait until his senior year to tell him? On top of all that he was blacklisted by the school. That year he told me that he was tired of Mr. Snider, tired of the teachers, and tired of the guys who were messing with him. Lena Snider told me that he went to summer school in Ardmore in the summer of 96 and she said he went to job corps in Austin, Texas in September of 96.

He didn't come back to Oklahoma until January or February of 97. He told me he got his G.E.D. at job corps. I heard that he got into an argument with someone in Duncan Oklahoma one night in 1997 and a guy called Frog pointed a gun at him. Clint told him to shoot it, there's plenty of witnesses here.

Apparently there were others standing around watching. Clint said he told him "you've got serious problems!" Then the police showed up and Frog got in his car and left. The next time I saw Clint Berry was in April of 98. He was hanging around with Chris Young and Chris Robinson at the Rattlesnake Hunt in Waurika.

He was driving a red 90s convertible. He said he was working at Gibson's Discount Store in Duncan and planning on going to college. Clint later told me he went to college at SOSU in Durant, Oklahoma in 99 and Northeastern in Tahlequah in 2001. Then he said he joined the Army National Guard. He told me he served 6 years in the Army National Guard and a few more years in the Army Reserves.

The last time I talked to him was on Facebook in 2017 and 2018.

 OMG! I do remember Mr. Snider bringing the drug dogs to school! I didn't know he searched Clint's locker! I don't remember them searching a locker but I remember seeing the drug dogs in the hallway at school. I didn't know Clint got into a fight with Jonathan Couch.

Chris Young told me Clint would fight anybody if they pissed him off, but Chris said Clint never went around starting fights. I remember Clint worked at the Bill's Fish House. I went there once with a date and Clint was working there. I think that was back in 93 cause Marlena Welch also worked there. I know he worked there for a while.

I remember riding around with friends and seeing Clint's 51 Chevy parked there. He loved that car! I remember seeing him washing it at the car wash on Main Street like every other day! He used to hang out at the Eagle's Nest. Do you remember the Eagle's Nest? OMG! So many memories!

I used to go there and hang out like every Friday and Saturday! I loved their tater tots with melted cheese and bacon! Sooo good!! Sorry I went off subject. My mind is being flooded with memories! Anyway, Chris Young also told me that Clint worked at the watermelon plant in Terrell the summer of 1995. He said that he and all the guys working there would go to the river and hang out after work.

He told me Wrinkles, Nick Poage, Matt Elkins, and the boys who shot Heather Rich were all there. Anyway Chris told me that Clint almost got drowned by the guys who shot Heather Rich. Chris said they jumped on top of him while he was in the river swimming and held his head under the water for a long time! Chris said Clint broke free but they tore off his shorts and threw his shorts in the river.

Did you hear about that? Chris told me Clint quit working at the watermelon plant in Terrell Oklahoma a week after that happened. Anyway, yeah he was bullied and picked on a lot! Chris told me that Mr. Snider used to walk in the classrooms and sit at a desk by Clint. Man, you talk about pressure!

Like you I didn't see the bigger picture. I probably didn't care either. I was in my own fantasy world back then. But if I heard my son was being treated like that, I would have done something! I would be yelling at the teachers at Waurika High School! I'm sorry to hear that your family member is going through that!

Kristy, I have a family member who is going to that school. I don't want to release their name here, but he is going through the same BS. I told the Superintendent what was going on, and he acted concerned but did nothing about it.

Regarding Clint Berry, I wasn't there when he got into a fight with Stephen Dyer on Main Street, but I remember Stephen Dyer shooting spit wads at Clint in the auditorium during a class. I also saw Stephen Dyer trip Clint when he was walking with his books in his hand. I wish he would've fought back, but he probably would've gotten in more trouble if he did.

I remember one time I think it was in 94, not sure the month but Clint was walking to his locker after a class and a football player named Jonathan Couch knocked his books out of his hands. Apparently Clint was having a bad day cause he ran after him and did some kind of hard push that knocked Jonathan Couch up against his locker!

The impact left a dent in the locker door! Jonathan Couch was about to throw a punch and Coach Werner walked up and broke it up! That's the first time I saw him fight back against them. Clint had to go see Mr. Snider but at least he fought back! Do you remember Mr. Snider bringing the police and drug dogs to school looking for drugs in lockers?

Well I was walking back to class one day and I saw Mr. Snider and the police by Clint's locker. The drug dogs were barking. So Mr. Snider pulled Clint out of class to check his locker. Clint opened the locker door and he had a half eaten snack cake on the top shelf of the locker. They searched his locker but didn't find any drugs. Mr. Snider gave Clint D-hall for having food in his locker.

I remember a few other guys who also kept food in their lockers but never got in trouble for it. One day Clint was walking to class and I saw Mr. Snider stop him and search his pockets. Clint told me that Mr. Snider asked him why he didn't go to D-hall the week of his brother's funeral. Clint said he was about to walk off when Mr. Snider told him to step into his office.

Clint said that Mr. Snider told him to stop moping around about his brother who had just died, and get back into the groove of things or he was gonna be suspended. He was supposed to graduate with the class of 1996, but his senior year he was told by the homeroom teachers that he didn't have enough credits to graduate.

They kicked him out of the senior class meeting and told him to go to the junior class meeting. Yeah we were dumb back then! We should've spoke up! We knew what was going on, but we thought Clint deserved it. Clint wasn't the only one who was mistreated by the teachers and principal at that school. The girls knew what was happening but we thought it was justified.

I know better now, and I'm not gonna allow them to treat my family member that way!

 OMG That takes me back in time! I remember the teachers telling the girls to stay away from those guys. You know looking back on it I think the teachers thought they were doing the right thing. But in the long run it caused harm to those guys. I can't imagine that happening to my son. I remember Clint Berry.

He drove that old 50s car to school and used to sing Elvis songs in talent shows. Mrs. Hinshaw thought he was a troublemaker. Probably cause Mr. Snider said he was. We were so gullible back then! We believed everything the teachers told us. I felt bad for Clint too after he lost his little brother. Gosh! Looking back teachers were really mean to him!

The football players used to pick on him a lot! I remember him being upset about somebody spitting chewing tobacco on his car. He told me that he told Mr. Snider about it, but Mr. Snider told him to take it to the car wash and clean it off. But Clint told me it happened again and Mr. Snider didn't do anything about it.

He called that car a 51 Chevy. I thought it was a pretty nice car. One time he was on Main Street dragging Main in Waurika with the rest of the guys and he pulled over to talk to me and two other girls, and Stephen Dyer pulled up and tried to start a fight with him!

He told him to get that piece of sh*t off the road. Clint told Stephen to fu#$ off. Stephen got out of his pickup truck and walked towards Clint. Chris Young and Chris Robinson pulled up in a pickup truck and broke up the fight. Gosh! That was back in 1994!

Man, so many memories, but like you I was a young lady and really didn't know what was going on. If my son was being treated like that at school, and I knew he had been blacklisted and was being bullied because of it, I would've sued the crap out of that school!! You're right Stormy, something needs to be done about Waurika High School. I didn't know that was still going on there.
