Works and lentz Garnished wages Tulsa Oklahoma
*General Comment: Request Financial Assistance
*Consumer Comment: Something SHOULD Have Been Done...And By YOU!
Faithfully I have paid every two weeks $75.00 to this company for a debt that was in fact mine. I never denyed that. Out of common curiosity I contacted this awful company to let them know I was filing for bankruptcy.
Before I could even gather the money to pay for my bankruptcy, they garnish my wages. I was never notified, no certified letter..nothing. Only thing I did get was an email from my employer two days before the garnishment was supposed to start...2 whole days. Something has to be done.

Request Financial Assistance

If it a medical facility like Saint Francis or even Mercy in OKC request financial assistance from the actual medical provider. The provider has a form and criteria. A lot of the hospitals will forgive your debt if you are truely in a bad place financially.
Works and Lentz will never tell you this because they get a percentage of the debt they collect. The hospitals can be more reasonable. Sometimes you can find the forms online, print them, fill them out and mail them to the provider and wait for a reply.
I recently had a debt forgiven by the hospital because I am not wealthy. There is no hurt in trying.

They took you to court and sued you, obtained a judgement and in good faith, withheld the garnishment action because you were making those payments. You took the action of forcing their hand by talking of BK. Why did you even tell them in advance of filing BK? You showed them your hand! I would hope you are smart enough to use an attorney for the BK. He or she might get a stay on the garnishment.
