They sold me Counterfeit Frontline, and wouldn't refund me my money when I called. Their phone operators were rude, and they just tried to sell me more stuff when I told them it didn't work and they sold me counterfeit stuff.

Lawyers?

If I had a choice to make between a company staffed with lawyers responding to complaints on ripoffreport.com and my local vet, I would have to choose my local vet.  At least my vet knows me.  He's not a LAWYER who helps operate a $188 million dollar company that is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.  And the price at my vet's office is actually cheaper than this company anyway, especially with the yearly deal my vet gives me and no shipping charge. 

PetMeds, if your quality and staff of professionally trained telemarketers made someone so mad that they had to get on the Internet to warn other people, you may need to figure out how to diffuse such situations.  But I can tell you, that would never happen at my vet's office. He knows me and my pet.  He's a DOCTOR with more than 8 years of education in this industry, not some LAWYER working for a huge corporation with an ACTRESS as their spokesperson.

I feel sorry for Oscar!  Give him his money back and quit being so mean!

Well you helped me make my decision on whether to deal with this company. I think I will just pay the extra money and buy from my vet.

It would have been much nicer and more professional to say "You are mistaken.", instead of being rude. You have put yourself out here as a representative of your company and they should fire you for your poor representation.

I been looking up Pet Meds and they have a very shady record, full of litigations and lawsuits.


On March 19, 2002, Novartis Animal Health U.S., Inc. ("Novartis") filed a complaint against the Company and two other defendants in U.S.
District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Novartis purports to assert seven (7) claims related to the Company's alleged sale of pet medications produced for a Novartis Australian sister company: Count I: Infringement of Registered Trademark Under Section 32 of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1114; Count II: Infringement of Unregistered Trademarks Under Section 43(a) of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1125(a); Count III: False Advertising Under Section 43(a)of the Lanham act, 15 U.S.C. Sec, 1125(a); Count IV: Misleading Advertising Under Florida Statutory Law; Count V: Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Under Florida Statutory Law; Count VI: Injury to Business Reputation Under Florida Statutory Law; Count VII: Common Law Unfair Competition.

The Company is a defendant in a lawsuit in Texas state district court seeking injunctive and monetary relief styled Texas State Board of
Pharmacy and State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners v. PetMed Express, Inc. Cause No.GN-202514, in the 201st Judicial District Court, Travis County, Texas. The Company has only recently filed in the lawsuit its initial pleading, denying the allegations contained
therein. The Company will vigorously defend, is confident of its compliance with the applicable law, and finds wrong-on-the-facts the vast majority of the allegations contained in the Plaintiffs' supporting documentation attached to the lawsuit. At this early stage of the litigation it is difficult to assess any possible outcome or estimate any potential loss in the event of an adverse outcome.

The company does not sell counterfit meds. and it doesnt matter if you used the entire product and you call 6 months later they still refund your money that is the policy. of course she tried to sell you different medication thats her/his job they are to provide you with another option iif the product you used didnt work for you. if you chose to get a refund you can have that instead. my guess is your probably a vet pissed off that the company pulls money from your pocket. i challenge anyone who actually reads this garbage to call up the company and ask to speak with them on the return policy alone.
