1 Rate ripoff fake rip off scam con artists Internet

This morning i got a call from 1 Rate.com ( because i had left them a real nasty message!) They said that they used Global Financial to sell there long distance to global's customers.

and that when u sign up for global, that long distance is included on a 10 day trial and after the 10 days you have to call them and cancel!

She said that she has already cancelled my "subscription" to them and that a refund in the amount they took from my account 49.95 would be redeposited into my account in 3-5 days.

She said if the account has been closed then it will send it back to them and they will mail me a check..(we'll see) also i got the phone number of First America Bank who handled all of Global's withdrawl's.

i left a message for Jason(ext.202) explaining what happened so i'm waiting for his call. From what i understand if you call this number they will send you your money back from Global right back into the account it came from! I found out that Global Financial sold my checking account numbers to 1 Rate.com and god knows how many more. The companies 1 Rate.com Global Financial Communications M & Freedom Resource are all affiliates! I ordered Global Financial's "Benefit Package" for 221.95 and never got a thing from them! Then to top it all off they sold my checking account numbers to 1 Rate.com. In order to stop 1 Rate or any company from accessing my account I had to close my current account and start a new one! This has been a nightmare from the beginning, never again will i give out my account numbers on the phone or internet! Someone needs to stop these people, what their doing is illegal! I'm telling everyone i know to beware and watch your accounts for theft!
