The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Micah Lauret during an on-site inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward 180fusion.

180fusion is a company specializing in assisting small to medium sized businesses with marketing, specifically internet marketing. Leads are acquired through affiliate partners, pay-per-click ads, etc. Any potential customers who have expressed interest in 180fusion’s services will be contacted by a representative of the company to discuss the sales process and services they offer. “The sales process has 3 components: opener, closer and consultant. We use the opener to get them excited about it, the consultant will analyze their products, and the closer will close the deal,” explains Micah Lauret, a representative of the company.


At times, a customer may not feel satisfied with the services they’ve received. “One [complaint] that I can remember was a lady with a very niche market – dog vests for service animals. She signed up and was thinking she should see better results after a couple of weeks. The service she picked was slated to see slower results (3 – 6 months). We do have services (pay per click) that provide faster results, but they cost more,” Micah explains. This particular customer was offered one month free. Additionally representatives of 180fusion spoke with her on numerous occasions to come up with alternative ways to market her business outside of 180Fusion’s services. “We helped her contact local businesses and boutiques that would probably show better results. We ultimately gave her a refund,” explains Micah. Once this complaint was closed out, the customer was satisfied. 180fusion’s follow up procedure is focused on finding results for their customers, even if 180fusion can’t provide the desired results. “They expect us to help them with their business. It wouldn’t be great customer service to press them to use 180fusion’s services if there is truly nothing else we can do for them. When we have a solution, we contact them,” states Micah.

180fusion is listed on TOP SEO’s “Top 10” list every year. To further ensure their clients are receiving the best product and services possible, 180fusion is a certified Google partner and their CEO participates in Google’s GEO roundtable committee. 180fusion also employs the use of an EXPRESS team, whose sole responsibility is to respond to customers’ inquiries in no more than 4 hours, to ensure their customers always receive answers and solutions as quickly as possible. If a situation arises where a client does not feel satisfied with the product, the team at 180fusion focuses on doing everything they can to rectify the issue and keep the customer happy. “We try to educate them on the services and find out what the real problems are. We want them as customers and we know we can help - we sometimes just need a bit more education. But if it gets to a place where there is nothing else realistic [that can be done], we provide refunds,” Micah explains.

Since receiving complaints through Ripoff Report, 180fusion has revised their reporting structure to provide more timely reports and more mentoring education. “We also instituted our ‘Voice of the Customer’ program, which really delves into the needs of our customers,” Micah states. 180fusion has also implemented a new training system for all employees who need certain amounts of credits in order to support certain products. In response to the complaints posted to Ripoff Report, Micah states, “There is one ‘troll’ out there that we think we know who it is, but he isn’t an ex-customer. He’s a competitor who stirs up all sorts of garbage just to give us a bad name. Our results speak for themselves.”

180fusion 180Fusion - Beware! Will take your money and not Provide Acceptable Service - Hard to Cancel Ladera Ranch California

I signed up for a 3 month contract for PPC advertising with this company - 180fusion. I told them that when the 3 month period was done I would decide if I wanted to continue with them. Exactly at the end of my 3 month contract on 10/10/2013 I called the person I had conversed with and told him I no longer wanted to continue with their company. He said "No problem, I don't handle that dept. but I will send your request over to them." They called me and said they had already auto billed me for the 4th month anyway and refused to refund my money.

They told me I needed to let them know 5 days before my contract ended to cancel.... in fact In reality I let them know weeks before, because it took them a few weeks to get my account up and running....so in reality they did not run my PPC account for a full 3 months before they billed me for the 4th month and I DID cancel within the required time slot. This company is dragging their feet and keep beating around the bush and refuse to refund and use auto billing to catch you in their trap. Buyer beware of this sneaky company.

 I am not impressed with the results from their adword campaign. I was getting more hits and sales from my google shopping feed and my product listing ad than from their adword campaign. While in my analytics I looked at the matched search queries and noticed that I was having a 100% bounce rate and that some of the key words thery were using were really off.  For instance: therapy dog harness (there is no such thing) gogles for dog ( that is a misspelling) pet harness for diabled (no such thing and it is spelled disabled) Sparkle dog ID tags ( I don't even know what those are nor do I carry them ) Velcro patch therapy dog vest ( there is no such thing )
These are just a few keyword phrases that I found in the first few minutes of looking and the more I looked the more angry I got. 
The response I got from them when I cancled their services after my 3 month contract was up:
Though we received notification of termination after the automatic billing had already been processed  and we did stop work and stop the recurring billing after that point. Because we didn't finish a full month of service at your request, we would like to provide a 35% refund for the last month.
Providing a 35% refund is a ripoff. 180fusion had finished optimizing the first month and were just monitoring my account to see how it was doing. I CANCELED them on the first of the month so they did NOT provide any more services which would require payment. They stated themselves that they canceled work on my account when I called and canceled on the first of the month......so why do they state they will only reimburse me 35% instead of 100%. They did not do any work to my account to justify being paid 65% of the month. That is NOT a fair settlement of my account. Why should they get paid 65% payment of a month that they did not do any work for and were already canceled and they acknowledged the fact that they were canceled and had stopped all work. That is taking money for services not rendered.
Beware of using this company !!!
