1st Response Towing Unscrupulous employees and using bullies to over charge is probably not good business Clearwater, Florida

My vehicle was towed by 1st Response Towing in Clearwater, Florida.  I went to their office this morning September 30, 2010, to pay for their service and pick up my vehicle.  I entered the office, was greeted and then told my bill was $540.  I was a little surprised at the cost, but I paid the money and was given a receipt.  I arrived home and reviewed the receipt, and I immediately noticed that there was an 80 discrepancy in their favor.  I felt they must have made a mistake, and called 1st Response, and inquired about this discrepancy.  They were abrupt and rude and claimed that they had a receipt stating a different number that displayed more fees and that it equaled $540.  I tried to explain that this could not be possible, since I have the carbon copy from the receipt given at the time of the transaction.  At that point the owner, Skip asked me to come back in, so that he could review the receipt issued to me by his employee. 

I happily agreed.  So about 15 minutes later I arrived again at 1st Response Towing and asked to see Skip.  I was greeted by a very large intimidating man approximately 6 feet 6 inches tall, and he had to weigh 300+ pounds.  He immediately snapped into an aggressive tone, and told me that he is Skips son, and Skip was unavailable.  This man then presented me the same receipt that I had signed, but now the receipt (clearly altered with 2 different hand writings) had new entrees totaling $540.  He then, as he began to approach me from around the counter, told me to now get the f*ck out of here.  Well, I left.  Then as I was walking back to my car he and, now a few other employees appeared at the door of the 1st Response Towing offices and began shouting vulgar obscenities and threats out the door.  Then, apparently, 1st Response Towing called the police on me!  No police action was taken although it should have.
