I ordered a Sony camera on Monday.  The site said in stock.  I got a confirmation email.   A man called Tuesday night telling me that the camera I ordered is sold out everywhere.  But, they do have it.  problem is, I must now buy a memory card and case for another $700 to get the camera.  I told him no, I would never pay that much for a card and case I don't need, I just want the camera.  he said I had to buy it or a warranty to get the camera.  I told him no so they cancelled my order.  Not very nice to do as this was a Christmas present. I would not recommend this company.

I recieved a call from Anthony, a manager.  He explained that their buyers are simply unable to get a supply of these camers and they have a long waiting list.  They had a a couple of their buyers that were able to buy a few but the cameras were sold to them as a bundle at the higer cost.   He was very nice, and was very sorry for the misunderstanding. I told him that I was not going to order the camera or wait on a backorder list as this was going to be a Christmas gift.  Anthony then said he was going to ship me a free battery for the camera so that when I do get it, from whomever I end up ordering from, I will have a spare battery.  This is a $150 value!  I did not ask him for anything, zero- this was something he offered all on his own because he felt bad over the situation and wanted me to be happy.  To me, this is extremely great customer service as he did not have to do this.  I WILL do business with them in the future.
