DO NOT trust this company! This is a complete scam luring desperate people in search of a job. The advertise as a huge Marketing firm who works with fortune 500 companies etc. when in fact, they hire "entry level account managers" to go around to random businesses selling QUILL office supplies. THEY DO NOT WORK WITH FORTUNE 500 companies. Search ANNEX MARKETING, it is the same people only they are operating under "703 Marketing". Just look on their website, if they really dealt with fortune 500 companies, shouldn't their web page be a little more appealing? It looks like a ten year old designed it. Do not waste your time going in for an interview! They accept anyone this is the email that is send once they receive your resume:

Congratulations (name)!

We have received your resume and are very impressed. Thus far, we have reviewed well over 400 resumes and after careful consideration, we are excited to state that you have been selected for a preliminary interview.

If hired, your responsibilities would entail direct consultation with business owners and customers on current promotions, bundle packages, and current campaign support. #1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fraud, Quill, Dishonest, Capital Marketing Solutions, Falls Church VA, No reimbursement for gas, door-to-door sales

AUTHOR: Northern VA Resident - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 18, 2010

I am so glad to see that this company is finally surfacing on the internet for the fraud that it is!

I too became a victim and fool to this company. Thankfully, it was only for 3 days!! I made my own separate complaint under the name Capital Marketing Solutions (The new manager changed the name, which was previously 703 Marketing)

Everything you said is true! They say their clients are Fortune 500 clients--FALSE! You basically are going door-to-door selling Quill office supplies. I remember in my interview they said their clients were Staples, Quill, Verizon, and some bank. Well, if one of their clients is Staples, then how come when whenever we'd walk into a business and the manager states they get their supplies from Staples, we have to walk out?!! Doesn't sound like they are a client afterall.

Please people do not fall for CAPITAL MARKETING SOLUTIONS' scam. You basically work 13 hour days, driving around to your assigned territory NOT getting reimbursed for your gas/mileage all so that you can sell office supplies door-to-door. You have to enter offices that say "No Soliciting" as well! How embarrassing!!

The sad thing is that the employees here actually believe they will achieve a management position in which they will be making 90K! The manager doesn't even own a car!! He lives in Prince William County with 3 other coworkers. ALSO, they currently have New York employees staying at his townhome. If this company had money, why are the New York employees allotted hotel rooms like any major business does for business trips?? Also, everyone is very young. Around 21-25. My age range as well. They target young, fresh out of college students who are aware of the tough economy right now.

On my third day, I had become pretty close with one of the trainers, and when we were finally alone, just the two of us, I asked, "okay straight-up and honestly, how much do you really make a week" She tells me she only makes about $100 a week! She also admitted that she was going to get a bartending job on the weekends to pay her rent and keep in mind she has ROOMMATES. Myself, on the other hand, was the only employee who lives in an apartment solo and everyone was shocked. Because they know they can't afford to live alone!

During my second interview, the manager even encouraged me to try and live with one of the current employees! I had bad feelings from the first interview and wish I would have listened right away. But thank GOSH I only stayed 3 days.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ANY SIMILAR TO THIS.
