Got a call from 844-653-2035 today at 1:15PM PST.  The person claimed to be calling on behalf of Southern California Edison and stated the the power would be shut off at 1:40 if a payment of $498.67 wasn't made by green dot money pack.  They also said that further instructions could be obtained from "Eric Anderson" at extension 1020 at the same number.

An obvious scam;  The number appears to be in use in India (see: http://mobile.yuplee.in/mobile-tracker/maharashtra/tata-docom/8446532035), from Maharashtra or possibly in New Delhi.
