I orded a Canon S5 IS digital camera on March 29 2008 from these guys off the internet....no accessories; they were too high priced. Order was comfirmed, but next day I get an E-mail from them saying I omitted some credit card info. Yeah right! But I filled in the blanks anyway. Clark, the customer service guy then goes on to try and sell me rechargable batteries and a memory card. I said I already had the batteries, and had ordered a memory card from another cheaper source. Clark then told me the camera would be shipped right away.

No sooner I get off the phone, another E-mail arrives from 86th Camera saying "in the time I was speaking with customer service, the model camera I wanted sold out. Next shipment expected to arrive in 3-4 weeks." Now I'm begining to smell something fishy, so today I call 86th Camera posing as a new customer and asked if they had any of these cameras in stock. The sales man said "of course and I can ship that out to you today". The poo really hit the fan when I told him I had already ordered the camera 2 days ago and was told it was not in stock. The salesman then tried to say the "camera is out of stock".

Bottom line is these guys are real crooks. They advertise the lowest price out there, but then try to make up the difference with out of this world priced accessories. If you resist their sales tactics, your order is put to the back of the line where only God know how long you'll have to wait. My guess is the item will never be shipped and you'll be forced to cancel your order.

I did report them to the Better Business Bureau.
The real bad news is there is a total of 7 camera stores all operating under the main company name; Wisetronics.
These aren't just bad selling tactics. What they try and do is criminal!
