900 Direct Fraudulent 900 # Billing telecom fraud Conoga Park California

When I first got this bill I checked the date and time of the call and found that I was in the hospital for a biopsy when they claimed I was using my phone 40 miles away. I sent receipts for the hospital release and a dinner receipt from approximately an hour after the suspect call. This crooked outfit never acknowledged my response and continues to bill.

I contacted my phone company - Verizon, to see what I could do to disprove their allegations - no help. Verizon just wants your money, they are not there to help you with your phone service problems -->

"Thank you for contacting the Verizon eCenter, where we are committed to helping you make progress every day. We apologize for the delay in our response and we regret any inconvenience to you. This message is in response to your email dated July 31, 2004. You inquired about fraudulent billing you received from 900 Direct. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist you with your request through email. You will need to contact 900 Direct directly. A customer service representative will be happy to assist you. Thank you for using Verizon. We appreciate your business. Sincerely, Monette Verizon Consumer eCenter"

So, all I can do for now is warn others and search for solution. They've offered no proof that a call was made, so I'll just continue to fight them as best I can. Hope you have better luck!
