A-1 PARTS SHOP STOPPED PAYMENT ON (2) CHECKS TOTALLING $405 GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas

We have been doing auto detailing services for A-1 Parts Stop for several years. They stopped payment on 2 checks totaling $405 last week. I called the owner (Chris?) to inquire about the checks and he stated that he was working with his bank to correct the error and he would get back to me. He has never followed up with me after numerous phone calls to him. Banks don't just stop payment on checks for their own purposes. I was willing to work with Chris as a small business owner myself, but he has apparently decided to just blow me off. We will eventually file charges with the District Attorney's Office if he doesn't pay.
