A-Afforable Roofing Co. Houston, Tx Unreliable, unprofessional *REBUTTAL is a lie says victim

I associated with this company in the past, and would associate with it again if I need to. The services I received were of quality. Communication, often, is the key in business success; therefore, I suggest to close this subject. The involved parties are off their own ways, and please forgive eachothers.

A-Afordable Roofing Co. responded to my assertion that this is an untrustworthy company. In his (Eddie Ricket) attempt to make the company seem like the "good guys", he made statements which are seriously untrue.

1)I made out the check to both A-Affordable Roofing C. AND RSI. and it was indeed SIGNED!

2)I never called the co. "cursing". That is not my style.

3) They NEVER offered to refer me to another roofing company!

4)I don't see how I was at fault for the "confusion" when I followed explicitly the directions of their salesman. If their representative was mistaken, that should be their problem, not mine!

My original complaint stands! Do not use this company

Rebuttal:

This individual sent the payment (made out to the wrong company) but never signed the check. She never returned a signed contract and startup check for this work to be done, so therefore we felt that she was trying to get the work completed without payment.



We later found out that a check had been made out to RSI (another

company) and had been sitting in their safe for three weeks.



In the end, we offered to help her find another company to do the work for her, but she refused. As she stated, we quickly returned her check as soon as an agreement could not be reached.

My name is Eddie Rickert. I own A-Affordable Roofing Company. Remove this false report immediately! This woman did not write a check to my company. She insisted that the check be written directly to the material company and that she receive a waiver of lien from them before any work was started. The check she wrote was to RSI (Roofing Supply Inc.). The salesman took the check to RSI where it sat in their safe for three weeks. She was given her original check back (which she had never signed) after she called cursing and we finally realized what had happened. We did receive a signed contract and startup check as per contract requirements and therefore, she brought the confusion on herself.

Please remove this from your list immediately!!!
