This company accepted a partial payment for January and the remainder due on Jan 31st. Feb 1st they had the repo man come and get it. Not even a phone call, although they insist several were made. Not a single missed call. I believe the idiot employee made a mistake in accepting a partial payment and was not supposed to. Instead of calling me they handled it this way. I had the payment and just needed to drop it off. They should not have a incompetent employee working there who is not aware of the policies. So now I have lost my car and unable to get it back due to lack of information NOT PROVIDED by the employee.....but he can not even use a calculator so I am not surprised. All of this over 200.00

I "attacked" (as you put it) the OP's credibility for the reasons I've posted above. Robert did a similar thing and both of us offered some helpful advice..totally ignored, of course.
We all post OUR comments on here with very little limitation. The OP, is going to get rebuttals he may like and some he may not, but by posting here, he invites them ALL.
No apologies here. He IS fated to repeat the scenario without a change of attitude on responsibility.
Blaming others and the economy for the problems is a sure fire way to remain a user of subprime lenders in the future.

His/her credit problems , if they do exist are none of your business.
- That would be correct if that person did not come and post on a PUBLICweb site. Once they post here they are subject to the opinion of anyone, whether or not they agree with them.
Whether it is a public forum or not it still gives you no right to attack anyone. This is ROR. This is about people who feel they have been mislead/abused/ect by companies. This still gives you no right to attack someone.
I do agree that if he/she would have called , gotten the employee name, date, time, ect then he/she may have a legit argument
- A legit argument for what? They repossessed the car after the remaining payment wasn't made on the agreed date. By the OP's own admission the remainder of the payment was due on the 31st..and they did NOT pay it.
If this company took a partial payment and they told them it was ok then it was wrong. I suggest you actually read what I posted. I have had this happen to me with my mortgage company . I paid in full and they held the money in "suspense" and it was paid on time. Please read before you insult and feel like you are the almighty.Yet your so quick to judge. I am so extremely happy that my father, his father, my husband and his entire family are/were military so that they are fighting for jerks like you to attack people. You, kind sir, are a jerk.
-So what is your relationship to the OP? Just how do you know the military status of the OP's family? Perhaps if you had "Enough" you would have told the OP personally to get off their a** and make the payment. By the way it is people in the Armed Forces that do fight for people to have the opportunity to post and respond to these posts, so I do thank them.
This makes me sigh. You can't read or your brain is not working. REREAD what I posted. Did I say I knew the OP?? Did I say I know the OPs family??? NO...And I will let my father, MY FATHER, and MY HUSBAND know that you are thankful for what they have done. Unfortunately my grandfathers have passed away but I am sure they are thankful for your thankfulness. I will post it again so that maybe your fingers won't get ahead of your brain...MY POST... I am so extremely happy that my father, his father, my husband and his entire family are/were military so that they are fighting for jerks like you to attack people. You, kind sir, are a jerk.
ALL mine, not the OP. MINE. Read before posting again.
My husband said thank you for your support btw.

Why

My question is why is Ken attacking an individual? Credit problems these days are rampant with how the US has screwed up the economy. I am not taking sides with the OP because frankly he/she was late. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how many days your late, how many times you talk to a bank/mortgage/ect they will take it because they can. It is getting worse and worse. But as long as the tax payers keep getting screwed it won't change. That is a completely different story. Back to what I was talking about. Why Ken are you so angry? Are you one of these bottom feeding debt collectors who harass people? To me your statements come across as you are a person owed money and are ticked off about it. His/her credit problems , if they do exist are none of your business.

Eventually the American people will get fed up with how the banks/mortgage companies/bill collectors/ ect have run of the show. Also , Ken, before you say it , no I don't have credit problems and no I don't pay my bills late.

and resume my retirement. Those companies just didn't pay a living wage to shill for them.
(I threw in that "living wage" as a tease for your union actvities...grin.) Back in the day I was a steward for CWA.
Your offer is generous, though, thanks.

Being that you such an expanded business empire these days, getting to those 30+ companies must be a real problem for you. I have the answer, at least a partial solution. My MU-2 usually sets a few days a week which means you can make more efficient use of your time! Just think how you can get around even easier than now! It has full amenities and is fully, all weather equipped. I know a few guys who are MU-2 type qualified and I'm sure we can make a deal with them. The MU-2 can be a bit demanding and is not for a novice but these guys have helped me from time to time and I trust them with my life. I can make you a deal wet or dry so drop me a line and we'll do business!

That response must be from the owner. Yes ripped off!! Was told that never needed to worry if even a couple of days late. I already have a brand new car and no I don't have credit issues. It was done because it was quick and necessary at the time."
1. I don't work for them or anyone else.
2. I would say you were more than "a couple of days" late and more than once.
3. You would NOT have dealt with this lender if you didn't have credit issues.
4. I SERIOUSLY doubt you have a "brand new car" right after a repo...NOT likely at all.
5. You definitely have credibililty problems.

- You weren't a DAY late, you were a MONTH late. Because you only made a PARTIAL payment on the 1st you were still late, but they just gave you another month before they would repossess it.
But that wasn't even good enough for you. Even though you had the money you wanted them to remind you to make the payment. Well they did remind you, by reposessing the car. Of course you don't like the way they reminded you. So perhaps next time instead of just sitting on the money you may actually get off your a** and go pay it when it is due next time.

How were you ripped off?
Were you late?....yes.
"I had the payment and just needed to drop it off."
And you were just waiting for a convenient time....right?
" They should not have a incompetent employee working there who is not aware of the policies. So now I have lost my car and unable to get it back due to lack of information NOT PROVIDED by the employee.....but he can not even use a calculator so I am not surprised. All of this over 200.00 "
Not sure who is incompetent here, but doubt it was the employee.
How is the "incompetent employee" responsible for the repo of your car and your inablity to get it back? What difference would it have made if you were told you couldn't make partial payments?
How many times has this happened before?
I'm sure, this was in no way, your fault...right?
I would wager you have a history of trouble with your credit/creditors.
Until you own up to who is REALLY responsible, you're fated to have this scenario repeat many times.
This isn't over yet. They'll sell the car and bill you for any amount still owed after the sale.
