AAPPM just say no!

At a recent AAPPM conference the kool-aid was served liberally just say no. The AAPPM is designed to fleece podiatrists. They collect a big yearly membership fee and another giant fee for each and every meeting. The meetings are basically arranged to corral podiatrists. Get them all in one chute so the vendors, sponsors, and snake oil salesmen can push their product. Oh btw, the sponsors, vendors and charmers all pay the AAPPM for that privilege too.

It doesn't stop there. While in the lecture hall you are bullied, shamed, and coerced into donating extra $$ for any number of projects. This way the AAPPM appears benevolent and Ornstein gets to pat himself on the back as the altruistic leader. Part of the indoctrination includes joining one of Ornsteins mega podiatry ipas, undermining single practitioners and intending to marginalize PICA. The AAPPM is the most self serving organization in healthcare. Name another association that has the same person at the helm for more than a decade that answers to no one. No-one voted him in, no one can vote him out. Touted as a non-profit its nothing more than a DPM/ATM cash extraction program. Your money, into Ornsteins pocket.

For added fun they parade unprincipled carneys disguised as program content and speakers who shouldnt speak. Free consultations are highlighted, another sales pitch with more monthly membership fees that are just another part of this giant ponzi scheme. Rem Jackson and Top Practice is the prime example. Send him your cash and he will send you a newsletter with other patsy members strategies. This guy would make a fortune selling used cars. He has zero background in podiatry or healthcare.  He is a salesman. Knife sets, hair formula, frozen steaks, whatever give him credit though, he is selling dreams to dreamers. Ron Popeil would be proud.

This could go on as the entire board is a mess. The president of AAPPM has a dying practice, the secretary is almost bankrupt, all are steeped in alcohol and misplaced ego. Half the board members are sleeping with the other half and they fund these weekend frat parties on the members dime. They preach brotherhood yet insist their members drop out of ACFAS and follow right wing ideology. The un-professionalism is profound.  APMA should kick them to the curb
