Relying on an Internet "complaint" site does nothing in the long run...these posts will soon drop down on major search engine results. And when readers see that the agency is STILL up and running, without having endured any major fallout, they will assume that these posts were merely the rants of scorned models and mothers.

Government agencies CANNOT ignore complaints from over a dozen models and parents...they will be forced to investigate the agency, which could potentially lead to permanent closure. These complaints will not be seen as a fluke, or as someone who is "out to get" the agent.

Do not concern yourself over strongly worded letters that her husband-attorney may have sent on her behalf in the past. If he is smart, he will disassociate himself from this situation quickly, or will risk having his practice dragged through the mud as well. The DBPR will investigate and thoroughly look into ANYONE who helped her execute any wrongdoings, including ex-employees who knowingly wrote emails filled with false information. If you believe that her husband assisted the agent in carrying out fraud, you can also report him to the Florida Bar Association.

Contact any federal, state, county and city licensing departments that has the ability to look into her business.

I am sorry that your 16 year old daughter experienced such antics and I would be appalled if that happened to me.

As a person close to the situation, I can assure you that what your daughter told you is true. While I have no knowledge of whether your daughter worked or not, I can verify several issues you are concerned about, as I have personal and direct knowledge of such behaviors and I have been a target of her tactics:

1. Jane Rooney married a Business Attorney in Orlando shortly after her divorce from her British husband who returned to England. They married in Pinellas County in the spring of 2010.

2. Jane Rooney Rost is well known to enjoy her wine, at all times. She also is known to drink at work and on shoots. She has been known to become intimate with employees. She was also seen having an alcohol induced domestic fight with her husband at an Orlando bar.

3. Jane Rooney Rost has experienced severe personal problems involving her husband, finances, her children, and her immigration status.

4. Jane Rooney Rost will threaten anyone who asks her a direct question, even after she just sat across from you at lunch over salad and wine and explained how she has been victimized by her husband. She has been known to send drunken text messages to people at all hours of the day and night and has no problem calling an adversary and using words that would make a sailor blush.

5. Jane Rooney Rost is ruthless when getting what she wants, to the point of threats, harassment, stalking, and legal letters from her Husband's firm.  She loves to threaten to "expose" the actions of others to cover her own bad conduct. She will, however, offer to back down if you give her money.

6. Jane Rooney Rost will be as pleasant to you as possible when caught lying, then turn around and threaten you in every way. When you confront her, she has been known to resort to extortion. Do not confront her alone. If you choose to confront her at all, take a friend. She can turn on a dime.

7. Jane Rooney Rost has never owned a modeling agency before and at one point had virtually no money to effectively run it.

8. Jane Rooney Rost has much to hide.

I hope this will in some way assure you that you are right to be concerned, and that your daughter is not exaggerating. This agency has some very serious problems. There is, however, much more going on and minors should not be exposed to the ugliness and dishonest activities that are evident to adults. 

I have never before spoken publicly, although I have known for several years about the problems, because until I read your post, I had NO IDEA she employed children. I always assumed it was women over 18. I am very concerned that minors were left in her control. I am certainly putting my own safety at risk by doing this, but children must be protected.
