Emails were exchanged about wanting the Microcurrent (of which I still have). Their response to me was they have me coming in for Microcurrent Therapy only, as I made sure they knew I did not have an issue with Acne.
When I went to my appointment, I found out they would not do the Microcurrent but talked me into a light chemical peel. I agreed because I had already paid $125 to hold the appointment. After the peel I ened up paying another $80.
I could not understand why they wouldn't do the microcurrent on me because the womans explanation made no sense. I figured maybe they didn't have the machine. In which case, it would be false advertisement.
I ended up finding another business that does do Microcurrent AND they showed me the machine. I've gotten 10 treatments of which all have been positive.
Please think twice about going to ABQ Skin Care & Acne Clinic if you plan on going for Microcurrent. If you do go for this treatment, ask them to show you the machine rather then talk you out of it.
