I get this same email every few months.  I got so sick of this I actually responded via email to them about a month ago.  In that email I requested two items that are legal entitlements.  First I requested a copy of the original signed contract be mailed to me at the address they have on file.  Also requested their official company name and full mailing address.  Of course, I have received neither item.  Today I received that same email again threatening all sorts of legal actions.  Nice try.  Delete

Definitely a Scam!

AUTHOR: R.C.R - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, May 12, 2016

A real debt collector does not contact people via email.  These scammers are just sending out emails and seeing who will "bite" and send them money.  Actually, this is a pretty common scam due to all the naive people who fall for this.  Unfortunately, now they have verified your email address is active, you will continue to receive messages and they will sell your email address to other scammers.  I would not respond to anymore ridiculous messages from scammers.
