ACOSTA GROUP AND CROSSMARK MARKETING COMPANIES WOULDN'T STOP HARRASSING ME AFTER I DECLINED AND WITHDREW MY APPLICATION VIA EMAIL. TARA EMPLOYEE OF ACOSTA GROUP, CEO BRIAN WYNNE, IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BAD BEHAVIOR OF EMPLOYEES.

CHALINA KNAPP OF CROSSMARK, MONICA GUZMAN, AND LISA OROZCO HARRASSING ME WITH EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS AFTER I WITHDREW MY APPLICATION AND DECLINED THE POSITION.

Several days ago, I was very clear with my email explaining why I am no longer interested in the position at Sam's Club with CrossMark. I sent a second email repeating myself to all five women.  Lisa, Monica, Chalina, Erin, and Kenya. The emails I sent were ignored, and these women continue to harass me to come to the training and work. After I spoke with Chalina Knapp, who has a nasty tone in her voice, I noticed that she likes to speak at people, not to a person. Chalina also hung up on me with intent during our conversation, playing games to see if I would call her back. This was before I met Monica. I did call back, but this was a huge RED FLAG!

Then I spent 4 hours with Monica, which I have NOT been paid for. It was clear to me she didn't want me at the location. Many RED FLAGS were obvious to me in her words and actions. So I sent an email twice, explaining and repeating myself.  Then the harassment began.  I called the ACOSTA GROUP this morning, the operator refused to let me speak to a manager, and then hung up on me with intent after I briefly told her why I needed to speak to a manager.  I called back, and Tara answered the phone and did the same thing, so now I am going public. I've worked for a lot of nasty, abusive employers, but this is the FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN HARRASSED BECAUSE I CHOSE TO DECLINE THE JOB.

Here is a copy of the email I sent to all the women I listed. CEO BRIAN WYNNE, TRAIN YOUR WOMEN TO BE RESPECTFUL, NOT ABUSIVE.  These women were getting into my email account. I gave them a proton email to use, but they go fishing with employees. Tracking employees is a bad habit they have, sending emails to something I NEVER GAVE THEM!!!

I WAS VERY CLEAR WITHDRAWING MY APPLICATION, WHICH ALL WOMEN REFUSED TO ACCEPT!!! I DON'T NEED THIS KIND OF ABUSE. NOR DO I RESPECT EMPLOYERS TRACKING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR OTHER EMAILS. THAT IS NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED!

This email was sent days ago to Erin, but she never responded to me.  erin.meuleners@crossmark.com   I am withdrawing my application. From the start, there have been more cons than pros, since I re-applied, but I wish the company the best with success and the juicing department. 

Plus, I've started my own business, and I need to be true to myself.     --------------------------------------   I feel I should express my thoughts after the meeting with Monica Guzman on April 4th. I will be blunt, she doesn't want me at this location or this position as lead. Frankly, I sense she is threatened by the fact that she and I are around the same age. I speculate she feels uncomfortable with me being just as old as her compared to the many workers who are 20-something under her.   She called me at 10 am and asked when I would arrive at the front entrance of the store to give her a call, since the other employees may not know who she is.  I arrived at 10:11, and she came out by 10:28.

Monica also mentioned that she tells people that if they have to drive 30 minutes to get to work, it's not worth coming to the location. California is overcrowded; it can take 30 minutes to go anywhere, plus I got the sense she was trying to deter me from taking the position and wanted to find out how long it took me to drive to the location. It took 11 minutes. Regardless, Monica shouldn't concern herself with how long it takes for someone to drive, as long as I am on time.   During this time, she went over a few things, questioned my experience, and I explained that I didn't know the position existed, as I didn't see it on the website. It was merchandising I applied for initially.  

She replied because she is not hiring any leads for the Lahabra location.   Monica has her leads in mind, so there seems to be some conflict about whether I am a lead or not. Chalina says I am, but Monica again has another girl in mind. Stating that she is waiting to take a test to be a lead.  

I AM CURIOUS WHAT THIS TEST CONSISTS OF?   Frankly, it doesn't matter to me either way. I'm just seeking part-time work. There is some communication between her and Chalina again, with the lead position, and how people can't just come aboard and be leads.   I expressed that I speculate, Chalina wanted me here because I mentioned to her the work I've done in the past at Lassen's and Bristol Farms, Sprouts too, but they both know this after seeing my resume. However, it was hard labor, I don't care to repeat that kind of labor. The demonstration job is mild compared to what I used to do.   At the end of our meeting, two things bothered me. Monica questioned me again about taking the job because she asked, "Don't you still want to be a care provider"? Her attitude has confirmed that she doesn't want me at the location or to take this position.     I get the impression it's not up to Monica. It's up to the company who is hired.

I just don't want to have problems with her, I'm confident with her being the manager. I respect her position as long as she respects me.   And to clear up the matter, because I'm being questioned so much. I was a care provider for my significant other, who was terminally ill, which came on suddenly, and it took a toll on my life. I can't do that kind of work again, because many care providers compromise their well-being when caring for someone else. I've healed in the last three years after he died; regardless, like everyone, I need to work to live. 

Whether it be for Crossmark or somewhere else.  I should have spoken up to Monica about this, I just didn't want to rattle her cage. I don't like people touching my devices, cell phone, laptop top, which I have spent a lot of money to purchase them.  She handled my laptop and closed it when the applications were still open without asking. I saw this as disrespectful.  She also tried taking my cell phone, but I refused. At this time, I was trying to take pictures of my documents through the cell from the link I was sent.

The light in the store was casting shadows, and too much light wasn't coming out right. Plus, the app was opening but wasn't functioning, so I deleted it to use another app. Chalina gave me an email to send the docs to, but after I left, I was able to send clear images through the link, which Monica thought was closed. It went through fine, and it was received.     

However, her grabbing my computer and closing the top is what bothered me. The system needs to be shut down properly, or it could end up damaged. Again, I don't like people touching my things. I just found it to be rude.   Overall, I thought it went well, but her actions and words clearly express that she doesn't want me there. The location is good for me, because I am close, but since she doesn't want me there, it could lead to problems. I will wait to hear from the company.
