Acura/Honda they void all warranty if you want to import their vehicle from the U.S. to Canada Internet, Nationwide

I inquired about importing an Acura (newer one that would be under warranty) and was told by the Acura/Honda head office that if I did import one of their vehicles, that as soon as the registration was listed in another country all warranty would be void in both countries, period. Also I would be charged for any recalls that this vehicle would have as their would be no warranty on that.
I have imported many different brans of vehicles from the U.S. and they have all honored their warranty except this one...
I did end up buying a 2012 Lexus with absolutely no issue whatsoever.
