I have a 6 page contract with Added Touch Landscaping LLC. Brian was to build a fire pit, add a Pergula to my back patio, and re do a wall. The contract required 50% down. The total job was $10,000. I gave Brian Baysdon a $5,000 check. He came the next day and tour down my wall. The city said he needed a permit to do the wall job. Another contractor obtained the permit for him but the other work I pre paid him for did not require a permit.
It has been 3 months and Brian has not returned to the job nor responded to any of my text, calls or e mails.
After doing some backround research on him, which I should have done prior to hiring him, it appears he has had several run ins's with the law including passing bad checks.
He was a referral from "Nextdoor" so I thought he was legit as he did show up to do some yard work, but he is a wolf in sheep clothing and appears to be a nice guy.. but be aware!
