OK, I've seen other reports and I'm glad there is a place to report these clowns. Women that rebutal - don't bother. It's a real site in that anyone can sign up, but it's incredibly misleading for men because most of the female ads are fake.

How do I know?

Well, whoever writes the introductions, repeatedly uses the same phrasings and you can tell by the style they were written by the same person.

#2, the ad writers are clearly not from the area. I saw about 10 ads from girls, all that just happened to be born in 1972, and all live in middle river, and all have what most men would say are model-type pics. I've lived here all my life. they have ads with these same type of supposedly real people, listed in very poor sections of the area. now, I'm not saying attractive people don't live in poor neighborhoods, but I get out quite a bit, and these girls do not live in Middle River or Essex.
Some years ago, there was a "white flight" to northern Baltimore County. Yet not a single ad from the Fallston area.

#3 They must have mass-posted several fkes about the time I logged on the other night. However, they made a huge mistake. There is a town north of Baltimore called Abingdon. They had about half the new ads listed as Abingdon, Delaware. There is no Abingdon in Delaware, and even if there were, what are the chances that so many "new" members all living in what most definitely would be a very small town in Delaware, all signing up at the same time.

Yes, there are real women on AFF. Easy to spot. They look like real people. I highly doubt there are hundreds of unbelievably hot women 22-25 living in Baltimore that are oh so lonely and can't find the 'sex' they need.

When I went into the chat room and pointed out how many fake ads there were, my I.E. all of a sudden crashed. I had been in the chat room for some time, it wasn't until I brought up the subject that at that very moment, only that IE session crashed. I was clearly kicked out.

I fully expect to lose my membership, because I responded to as many fake ads as I could find. And like I said, yes, there are real women on there, but not enough to entice as many men to sign up.

This site should be shut down and anyone who ever gave them a dime should get their money back.

For real customers, they have a policy that you are not allowed to give someone you meet (if you stumble upon a real person) your email address. Even a free hotmail address. Why would this be? Because they want to monitor and control all correspondence. If people actually succeed in meeting a successful match, they no longer need AFF.

Find another dating site that completely PROHIBITS this. There isn't one! The others, such as match.com, where you are much better off spending your money if you want to meet someone this way, simply gives warnings about the dangers of giving out certain info.

And the whole points system, that's suspect as well.

Most AFF Subscribers are real, but company shills lure the non-paying customer.

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 06, 2007

When I signed up for the AFF free service, I was sent periodic thumbnail sketches of exactly the type of women I was looking for--someone who was married and living right near-by.

"You have 6 new members just waiting to hear from you!" the first such email promised me. And then went on to say:

"You told us your sexual preference, and Adult FriendFinder has delivered! All the new members below meet your Adult FriendFinder requirements, and are awaiting your first move."

Attached were the very bried thumbanil bios of the six lucky women. Here is one:

"Donnamcky 47 year old woman from Waltham, Massachusetts.
"Married with older childen. Not happy but, i'm not looking for love just fun. I can be very funny, caring and fun to be with with the right man. I have a strong sex drive and can go again and again."

Sounds really enticing, doesn't it? Unfortunately, I would have to subscribe for $19.95/mos to be able to contact them or even find out more about them. The other problem was, even with the free service, I could still do a search for all 47-year old women in Massachusetts. Guess what--donnamcky's name did not appear. Nor did any of the other 5 perfect matches sent to me by AFF. Thus is no minor error--this is simple fraud. AFF is deliberately baiting its free customers with completely fraudulent descriptions of women who don't exist, in order to get them to convert their free membership to a paying one. (And you want to send them your credit card info?)

Please save your time and money...

AUTHOR: Christopher - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 22, 2006

I recently moved 1000 miles from a large city to a small town of less then 3000. This is a very rural area with a minimal of technology. After a few months I figured I would give AdultFriendFinder a try - and expand to the 3 larger semi-cities each 90-110 miles in opposite directions. Figured I could at least make the process of finding a REAL woman easier, then take over in person. Well, I signed up - but got distracted and saved with the intent of comming back later to finish. I had not even written anything in my profile and just put XXXXX in the mandatory fields - rushed through, paid, signed off. I came back 3 days later with the intent to complete my profile. Two very interesting things:

1) I have over 60 emails from women that "loved what I said in my profile" - many actually quoting it (saying they were quoting it). Think of a horoscope - he who can write the most universally applicable horoscope wins - same deal here.

2) There were over 20 replies from MY HOME TOWN! WOW! The local high school here has like 10 students in each graduating class - you do the math. I can assure you, there are not 20 attractive women cruising the Internet for dates here. There are essentially 2 grocery stores - I think I would have at least seen some of them in the past few months.

Then went to cancel - far more painful then setting up the account. In the end, I just filed a credit card dispute and went that route. Also, I had set up an email account specifically for this - that I have never used anywhere else. It gets about 200 spam messages a day. Again - never given it out before, never used it before, never posted it publicly in a profile or anything.

Adult Friendfinder should be called headcase finder

AUTHOR: Doug - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 19, 2006

I was a member of adultfriendfinder for 4 years, with moderate results in actually finding a date, or a connection with another adult. Membership is free, but with limited access, although there is a point system to earn points to write emails, and such to people the point system is so convoluted that only a Rhodes scholar can decipher the rules. Add so many mutual friends, write in to many blogs, and comment on so many clubs, and you get points. I talked to one woman who actually did this, but it was way too much work, when there are way better alternatives. So I will detail the problems with the site, and how they eventually too screwed me over in the end for a measly $9.00 but isn't that the reason we all are here, cause we got ripped off?

1) Too many fake profiles- The site has a proliferation of fake profiles, which change daily. Years ago, I too learned this about another site when an acquaintance admitted to me that they were paid by the site to make fake profiles locally, to make it look like there were bunches of local people joining daily. It is obvious to anyone who joins, this is the case, and if you are so nave to think otherwise, please get some common sense.
2) Porn spam, porn spy bots ,and strippers litter the site, who use the site for access to members for cam2cam, adult activities. Since joining the site, my mailbox gets on average of 200+ adult spam messages a day verses, prior to me being a member. The spy bots litter every chat room, like an infomercial gone awry. At my time of leaving I had over 200 names(bots) blocked, with no end in sight, as they are unstoppable so it seems. Lastly there were hundreds of strippers who made profiles, which some were as blatant to say in the profile they were accepting $5 dances on web cam. I reported several of them, but their accounts were not deleted, which makes me believe they accept this practice.
3) Swingers, Escorts, and Prostitutes often advertise on the site. Their profiles look like a regular person, but they are not real people, only people using the marketing power of the site to draw business their way. Most of the women I had met had real mental issues, and wouldn't be anyone you would consider meeting in person in the first place. I guess, if subculture is your thing then meeting these people may be your cup of tea. However if you are a normal person, you will not meet anyone of value on this site ever.
4) Chat rooms- The only way I ever met anyone was through the chat rooms by spending many hours getting into their cliquish world. Backstabbers rejoice as this is not for the fainthearted, if you are weak you will be trampled. Have a tough skin, and listen more than you talk if you are lucky you can meet a woman who loves to be sodomized by animals. I am not sure who the winner of that meeting would be, but I am sure it would not be me.
5) Live Web cams- Yes they have them, but know the men outnumber the women a hundred to one, most are housewives, and the majority of the men are cheating on their spouses, if you have morals or values this is not for you.
6) Instant Messaging- They have it, but it doesn't work, and the code should be rewritten. Put it this way, it would be better to say they didn't have any than to admit this is a benefit of their site.
7) Billing- This is bad as it gets, as with other sites you can sign up for things, but can't undo them. Cancel pages will not open, page errors, and hours on hold eat into my day. So-so customer service handled by Indian sounding people, who will not refund you $9, but instead blame it on your credit card company.
8) Foreigners- If you like getting hounded by a myriad of women from Ghana, Africa, Russia, and the Philippines just to name a few be my guest. They will search for people of whom they think are wealthy, fill your mailbox, and or instant messages with offers of wedded bliss.

If you are a glutton for punishment, do sign up, if you are not don't bother.

C'mon now...

Do you REALLY think that hot porn looking girls really need to be on the internet to meet men? How gullible can you possibly be? The women on that site are preying on lonely horny men and are laughing all the way to the bank when you pay to see "more" of them on their sites- WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE.

I tried going into the chat rooms, but as soon as you say something the AFF stooges object to, you get flamed

AUTHOR: Max - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 12, 2006

Thanks, Tim!

Tim:

I have posted a report and several prior rebuttals about AFF. I have noticed in my area the exact same fakery you mention. I tried going into the chat rooms, but as soon as you say something the AFF stooges object to, you get flamed. If you persist, they just kick you out. A friend of mine still belongs to the kinkier FriendFinder, ALT.COM. He has indeed had many liasons with women, however, the ones he describes are not women I would like liasons with. My friend is a man who boasts he will f**k anything, and makes good on the claim, and he ain't no prize himself! Uhhh, my friend really is my friend, not a euphemism for ME!
My friend also reports he is constantly swamped by spam from West Africa from people who want him to "cash a check" or "wire them money." These chatroom girls from Ghana also put up bogus white girl profiles. Apparently, AFF/ALT makes no effort to eradicate these phonies.
I do not agree with the gentleman from Stone Mountain, GA. BOT postings are not inevitable and should not be tolerated by the modrators of AFF.
