Meir Holtzberg of Advantage Business Systems (Documentology) ordered 20 hours of database programming from my company. The programming was done to the clients specifications and the client decided to not pay for what he ordered.

Meir Holtzberg signed a contract and faxed it over to me, but did not honor it.

I wouldn't do any business with this company because they like to take "Advantage" of people by suggesting that they will be honorable by paying for what they order from them.

My side of the story.

AUTHOR: Meir Holtzberg - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 08, 2016

Steve had done graphic design work for my company back in 2008 and 2009 of which we were pleased with the results.

I discussed a website project I was interested in, Steve asked if I can give him the business and I awarded the job to him. I told Steve my budget for the entire project that I had to work with. After a few weeks of work, Steve let me know that he was many hours into the project, but was unable to show me progress of the site. and my budget was blown entirely with database programming only, not the actual web site. There was little to show for it. He had told me that he had subcontracted the job to a group of off-shore programmers and the site was going to come out really nice.  I quickly came to realize that the scope of the project was way more than we had both discussed and budgeted for, and I had no choice but to kill the project. The bill that was presented to me I disputed as unreasonable.

While I was disappointed with the web work Steve had done, all the graphic work that he had done for me I was very pleased with. After I told Steve that I cannot continue he web project , I continued referring lots of graphic business to him, which resulted in thousands of dollars worth of work.

If Steve still has an issue he would like to work out,  I am happy to close the loop and part as friends.

Our company has a squeaky clean reputation, and  we have serviced over 4,500 companies over the past 15 years.  The phone number I have for Steve is no longer working, if Steve reads this, please reach out to me, all my numbers are the same, I would like to arrive at an amicable resolution.
