I had leased a car from Advantage Nissan in 2005. I enjoyed my Murano so on turn in I decided to be loyal and go back to Advantage to lease a 2008 Rouge. This was my second trip to see the salesman. I told him that I wanted a 295. a month lease with no money upfront. I wanted to pay tax and fees associated with getting the car on the rode. Well this took over an hour of him walking back and forth to the managers desk. He arrived back with 1500 and 39 months at 295. I had asked him if the 15 was tax and first payment, he responded, yes. I said we have a deal. I went home to get my Murano to turn it in 2 weeks early ( it was paid up). We waited around until we could see the finance guy that ended up telling me that my credit score was not high enough to get the credit so he fought for me.

Meanwhile my score was 780 ( not bad huh). I was confused and he tried to explain it and he was confusing me more. He said I had a down payment of 1240. I told him No I don't want to put money down. He said that the salesman must of been confused and does not know what the real numbers are to get the car for 295. a month. I wanted to leave but my Murano had left the dealership and my plates were on the Rouge. He then breaks it down to me and tells me that they had to make me put up front cost so that I could get the low payment. I signed it like a fool but actually they did a bait and switch with me and I actually payed down the car to get a lower payment. And tomake a comment about my good credit score, how dare them.

We ahve been calling Advantage and they will not get on the phone with us. This is what I get for being a loyal customer. I am now in the process of calling Channel 11 to see if we can expose their evil ways. I have a friend that is a producer at the station. How do people sleep at night knowing that at these tough financial times they are riping others off.

Customer Service at Advantage Nissan

AUTHOR: Advantage Nissan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 14, 2012

MadGirl,

My name is ToniAnne and I handle the customer service here at Advantage Nissan.  I would like to first apologize about your last experience at our dealership.  Not only is it completely unacceptable for the staff to handle the situation like they did, it is completely wrong to make a comment about ones credit score.  I could only understand your frustration and I can assure you that the dealership today acts in the upmost respect and professionalism.  We truly to care about each of our customer to ensure they receive the best deal they can obtain. My personal email address is: NYAGCustomerService@AtlanticAutoGroup.net, as I would like to learn more about your experience.
