Advantage One Mortgage Group harassing letter in the mail about refinancing. Sent personal information illegally through mail. This company harassed me and does bad business. I do not recommend any one use them. ripoff Parma Heights Ohio

Advantage One Mortgage Group is a bogus, small group out of Parma, Ohio. The person's name I recieved is Colleen Milne. She tried to solicit business by using scare tactics. Her actions were unethical.

How was personal info sent illegally?

The only way it is illegal to send personal info thru the mail is if they send it to a third party. If they sent it to you it was perfectly legal.
Now, they may have had illegal access to your privacy act info, and that is a different story. Then you need to find out who released it to them without your consent.
BTW...the only info that is privacy act protected is your SS# and DOB.
I was in the Mtg biz for about 3 years as a loan officer for a broker. I worked in FL & NV.
You really didnt give any specifics on how they actually did you wrong or what damages you actually suffered.
