AER Financial Trust Lottery Scam!! Melville New York

I recieved a letter in the mail from AER Financial Trust. This letter apears to be from International Finance Department and it will say P.O. Box 01477, Windsor, Ontario Canada. This letter states that I was a winner in a second category of sweepstakes and lottery draw that was held on April 17,2009.

This letter is fraudulent!!!!! It will state that your name was attached to an entry slip with a serial number, and drew the lucky winning numbers....It also said that I was intitled to the sum of US $125K payable to me by bank draft, money order or certified check.

Inclosed with this letter was a check made out to me for $4,850.00 that was deducted from my winnings. It also states on this letter that this check is to assist me in paying for the Non Resident Goverment Tax. It stated that I was to call my assigned claims agent before responding to this letter.

My so called claim agents name was John Morris with the telephone number 1-905-598-4617. I did however call the number to see what this was all about. The guy I talked to told me to deposit this check then take out $2,950.00 and send it to some address via Western Union or Money Gram.

They also stated that the rest of my winnings would be given to me after I was to send them the 2,950.00 dollars. I called my bank to let them know that there was a scam going on so noone would try to cash the check.

If you or someone recieves this letter, it will say taht it is from AER Financial trust. The check appears to be real but it is not!!!! The check is from Adecco and it will say under this name: The Employment People. Please do not fall for this. Call your states general attorney so these people can be taken care of.
