My  husband had orthoscopic surgury on his knee.  It was not caused by a specific accident.  He has under gone MRI's,  x-rays, & physical therapy.   We filed our claim at the end of 2009.  We are still fighting with them to pay the claim.  We have done everything they asked of us each time they sent a new letter to us.  I have kept copies.   They have now denied our claim.  They have just lost a customer!

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

What policy are you filing on?

AUTHOR: Steven - (United States of America)

Which policies do you have?  If you have the accident policy then the treatment has to be related to specific injury.  If you are having trouble getting the claim paid then either that specific claim is not payable under the policy or there is additional information that is needed.  I would advise you to contact the customer call center if you haven't already.  When you contact them be sure to listen to what they advise.  Many people get frustrated but that is mostly because they don't take the time to read their policy to understand what is covered or they don't send in the correct information.
