Agoda.com Booking for Fave Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia Pay in Advance and No Refund for Early Checkout Internet Indonesia

I book with Agoda.com for Fave Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.  I pay 9 days in advance.  After 4 nights my plans change and I must leave.  Fave Hotel say talk to Agoda for refund.  Agoda say talk to Fave Hotel for refund.  Two weeks later same story:  No refund.  I tell Agoda their website is helpful to find a hotel but if they cannot help with refunds (even with penalities) then there is no need to give my money to Agoda.  I pay the hotel directly but only for one night at a time.
